Acts 27

And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus’ band.

And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.

And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.

And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.

And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;

And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.

Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,

10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

12 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.

13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.

14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.

15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.

16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:

17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.

21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.

23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

27 But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

28 And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.

29 Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.

30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.

33 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.

34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

37 And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.

38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.

39 And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.

40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.

41 And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.

42 And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.

43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

  1. 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

  2. 42 And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.

43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

The Devil seeks to rob, kill, and destroy the testimony of professing Christians. The Lord has put angel’s in charge of his children and provides a way of escape from the snare of sin. Sometimes in our earthly mind there seems to be no hope, but the Lord will never abandon his children.

  3. 35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

Then he set the example for them by taking bread, giving thanks to God publicly for it, and eating. Now often we shrink from praying in front of others! Yet how often such prayer speaks louder than our preaching?

  4. “Men,” he said, “I believe there is trouble ahead if we go on—shipwreck, loss of cargo, and danger to our lives as well.” But the officer in charge of the prisoners listened more to the ship’s captain and the owner than to Paul.
Acts of the Apostles 27:10‭-‬11 NLT

Though it may seem foolish at times we must trust and learn to trust the man of God Even though there might be People more experienced saying otherwise, it can be evidently clear the evidently clear that the man of God is being shown things That are not foreseen except for the spiritual eyes. I believe the key thing to learn in this is that we listen to the man of God even when it doesn’t seem to make sense

  5. 34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

    Hallelujah!
    Thank You Jesus!

  6. 18. The next day, as gale-force winds continued to batter the ship, the crew began throwing the cargo overboard.

  7. Verses 9-12 NKJV “Now when much time had been spent, and sailing was now dangerous because [a]the Fast was already over, Paul advised them, saying, “Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.” Nevertheless the centurion was more persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. And because the harbor was not suitable to winter in, the majority advised to set sail from there also, if by any means they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete opening toward the southwest and northwest, and winter there.” It does matter where you spend your time and who you listen to. We have to be sure we are listening to the right voice and not succumb to the majority or be persuaded by the most popular as we heard last night. We must heed the warnings as our house and our homes are at stake….be GREATER!

  8. Acts 27: 33-34 And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying. This day is the fourteen day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
    34) Wherefore I pray you to take some meat, for this is for your health, for this is your health, for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
Cornelius relalated to Peter how he been fasting and praying and had a vision and message from God.
Peter then declared that he realized God was no respecter of persons, and he shared with them the message concerning Jesus.
God has purpose and plan for each of us to fulfill his will.
Glory Hallelujah, Praise God for He is So Good to all of Us.

  9. This chapter teaches us that in every situation we can be a witness to others. Paul was literally being tossed by the raging storm of life with over 200 other men. He continued to calm them, encourage them, serve their needs by making sure they ate. I’m sure he himself was terrified at times with how bad the storm got.
Knowing how to calm ourselves by calling on God is a major tool to have in our tool box to handle life as Christians
And be able to witness to others

  10. Acts of the Apostles 27:20,22,25
[20]The terrible storm raged for many days, blotting out the sun and the stars, until at last all hope was gone.
[22]But take courage! None of you will lose your lives, even though the ship will go down.
[25]So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.

when storms in life come take courage and trust God. He is our hope and strength.

  11. The next day, as gale-force winds continued to batter the ship, the crew began throwing the cargo overboard. The following day they even took some of the ship’s gear and threw it overboard. The terrible storm raged for many days, blotting out the sun and the stars, until at last all hope was gone. No one had eaten for a long time. Finally, Paul called the crew together and said, “Men, you should have listened to me in the first place and not left Crete. You would have avoided all this damage and loss. But take courage! None of you will lose your lives, even though the ship will go down. For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me, and he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’ So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said. But we will be shipwrecked on an island.””
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭27:18-26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Remember, peace is not the absence of a storm – it is peace in the middle of your storm. No matter what happens in my life as a Christian, I have the promises of God’s Word. The storms of life will come and go but we don’t need to be afraid.

  12. I love POFW live Jesus give Jesus 2 Greater! 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land. Wow God made a promise and of course once again he kept it. Every time this happens we get stronger in God! God is my rock and my anchor. He lives me unconditionally and I love him unconditionally! He will be with us to the end!!

  13. 20 and when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared and no small tempest lay on us
all hope that we should be saved was then taken away .

    ——
interesting that it says …( all hope) was taken away…
    But God!🙌
how many times has the Lord taken me out of the messes that i ( myself) have created?
    countless…
The Lord is so merciful to me. for His word says
that nothing shall separate me from his love
today is a new day, he has aloud me to see the light again.
    blessed be his name 🙌
    hallelujah!!!
    thank you Lord.
    thank you Lord Jesus.

  14. ‭‭22-24‬ ‭NLT “For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me, and he said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.’ So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.”
    ‭‭
GOD will make a way when there seems to be no way. Put your trust in the LORD. Praise Him not only in the storm. Praise Him alway.

  15. The Kingdom of Heaven is GREATER
9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them

Now if we think its gonna be smooth sailing just because the fast is over in a few hours….then you need to reconsider… We all need to listen to the man of God. Paul tried to help these fellers avoid a lot of loss, but they refused to listern

  16. 17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

    18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

“Fear is not my future, you are!
    Hello peace
    Hello joy
    Hello love
    Hello strength
    Hello hope
    It’s a new horizon”

  17. Acts 27:44 And the rest, some on boards, and some broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

Psalm 107:28-30 Then they cry unto the Lord and their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

  18. 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

We have heard it preached (many times) that they were warned to not do a certain thing, yet did it anyway, only to find that they should have followed their pastor’s counsel. They could have been spared the heartache that followed by their own choices had they listened. We all have choices to make daily-follow the word we’ve heard or do it our way. We heard it preached last night about dominion in our own house, this fleshly body, and the benefits or pitfalls. We need dominion in our lives and our homes to reach this city.

  19. 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Even through what seems like trouble, if we are obedient, God will keep us and even extend grace to those around us. Be a light in darkness and let God be God!

  20. The Living Bible
    vs:31-32
But Paul said to the soldiers and commanding officers, You will all die unless everyone stays aboard. So the soldiers cut the ropes and let the boat fall off.

Paul now has so much credibility that he is in effect in charge of the ship. Authority does not rest on position alone. Authority comes with integrity and with demonstrated competence. Paul had been proven right before, and now was the ships company’s only hope

  21. ‘The next day, as gale-force winds continued to batter the ship, the crew began throwing the cargo overboard. The following day they even took some of the ship’s gear and threw it overboard. The terrible storm raged for many days, blotting out the sun and the stars, until at last all hope was gone. ‘

    Acts of the Apostles 27:18-20
Even after throwing everything overboard all hope was lost. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what you give up or throw over some storms are meant to come and they’re meant to pass. You got to trust in the Lord and believe that he will see you through the storm

  22. Acts 27:20 & 22-25 (NLT)
    20) The terrible storm raged for many days, blotting out the sun and the stars, until at last all hope was gone.

    22) But take courage! None of you will lose your lives, even though the ship will go down.
    23) For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me,
    24) And he said, Don’t be afraid, Paul, for you will surely stand trial before Caesar! What’s more, God in his goodness has granted safety to everyone sailing with you.
    25) So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.

We all will go through storms in life, and they may last for many days,
    BUT
When we “Know” whom we Belong To and whom we Serve (the One True Living God), then we can Believe what He tells us, and it will come to pass ( “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him,…” PS. 91:15) & (“… For he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. So that I may boldly say, The LORD is my helper,…”Heb. 13:5b-6a). Take Courage In That!!
And when we find COURAGE in God to make it through our own storm, because we “Know” whom we Belong To and whom we Serve and Believe in HIM, then we can bring HOPE and ENCOURGMENT to others in their storm.

Bring HOPE and ENCOURGMENT to others!
    Be GREATER!!

  23. 44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

For many of those on board the ship, they were in the storm of their life. They probably had never experienced anything like that before and they were willing to throw things that were important to them overboard with the hopes of saving their life.

There are many times that we go through great storms in our lives, yet for some it doesn’t change anything about us. Maybe it’s time when those storms come, that we start letting loose of things we have clung to, that have become weights and distractions to us, so that we come through the storm and walk in Greater Victory than ever before.

  24. “Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Though they sailed away, Paul showed his true colors of whom he served. Paul could have not advised anything to anyone, But in the midst of it all, Paul spoke what he needed to in order for all men to be safe and saved from all harm.
Your character as a Christian will show in every way, you will never be able to hide who you are , all comes to light. Through the good the bad and the ugly.
I must show the love of Christ everywhere I go.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  25. GREATER
    STAY IN THE SHIP

30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

During uncertain times it is tempting to “JUMP SHIP” and go to another ministry, another church, another position, or just do nothing and hope for the best.

I see prophetic instructions here today from the mouth of Paul. Except you stay in the ship, you cannot be saved. Someone needs to hear this today. GOD has placed us in HIS Kingdom for such a time as this. We are where we are today, for the purpose of JESUS. Consider why Paul was even on that boat in that situation. It was not his choice to be stuck at sea as a prisioner with a load of criminals. But to fulfill the will of GOD thats where he was.

Now is not the time to jump ship, flee the church, quit your ministry. Now is the time to anchor and stay together.

COMMITMENT is the key to survival and revival. We will come out of this storm, we will be GREATER because of this storm. This shipmen chose to trust the man GOD had placed in their lives and stay in the ship.

    AND

    Everyone made it to shore.

43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

  26. 42 And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
    ************
👿 Satan’s agenda is that none should escape. As the soldiers were commanded to kill them all, so he too wants all to be condemned and to follow him.
    *************
43 But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
    ***************
🙏 As the centurion saved Paul and all the others that were with him from being killed and cast out into utter darkness; we too should have that burden for lost souls. It takes courage when going through the storms and there seems to be no rescue in sight, but when we speak the name of Jesus it can bring light into the darkness, and there we will find the calm. All that will accept Him will be saved. We can help others to escape the shipwreck of life and be pulled into everlasting peace under God’s protection.

  27. 10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

The Centurion listened to the owner and master of the ship, rather than Paul. They didn’t like the Haven and didn’t want to winter there. It would be uncomfortable for them. They were willing to risk it all just for more comfort. They listened to the expert, rather than the man of God. In doing so, the ship and all its lading, and cargo were lost. Except for God sparing Paul, no doubt all the lives would have been lost also. We should listen to the man of God and not to the expert.

Parents should have listened to the man of God rather than Dr. Spock in the 60’s and 70’s and maybe we wouldn’t have had all of the rebellion, drug addicts, promiscuity, social unrest, etc that we have today.

  28. 7We had several days of slow sailing, and after great difficulty we finally neared Cnidus. But the wind was against us, so we sailed across to Crete and along the sheltered coast of the island, past the cape of Salmone. 8We struggled along the coast with great difficulty and finally arrived at Fair Havens, near the town of Lasea.

Daily, we all struggle with something. We feel like everything is going against us. We take one step forward but end up taking two steps back. Let’s put our trust in God, pray, and we’ll end up taking steps in the right direction, and not worry about what is behind us.

  29. 9 Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,

10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

When we don’t listen to the man of God, we can go through some storms we could have missed if we just would have listened. I know we are going to go through some storms in our life anyways, but why not miss the ones we are warned about. Thank you Jesus for the men of God in our lives that help us miss some storms!

  30. 31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

You wanna be saved? Keep your brother in the ship. Notice that he wants speaking to them that were about to jump off, butbwas directing his attention to the centurion and to the soldiers. He was speaking to the leadership. To look out for their bortehrs that are near the edge of the ship ans make sure they abide inside and that way all will be saved.

  31. Acts 27
10 And said unto them, Sirs I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

The centurion did not listen to the man of God, but to the master and owner of the ship. Therefore the ship was messed up as God had informed Paul.
If we would listen to our Pastor (the man of God), we would be directed in a positive way, and not listen to worldly people!
Thank you Jesus for this fay.

  32. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

We have to put all of our faith in Him! We cannot let our flesh let us doubt Him or question what is right. I pray tonight that we are all trusting him in all that we do!!

  33. 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

This is talking bout how the Angel stood by god. This is also talking bout how we should serve god and every one on heaven and earth

  34. 3 And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

    WOW!!!!
    What Great Favor!!
Julius has Paul as his prisoner, and he entreated Paul, and gives him permission to go visit his friends! That is such great favor!!

  35. I learned that And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary then Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved, thenAnd the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land, the end.

  36. 18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.

In the middle of the storm, they did not jump ship but they got rid of the things weighing them down.

When we are faced with adversity, we mustn’t leave the church or our ministry but simply let go of the things that would hold us back.

  37. 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

😳 these mens lives where in the hands of Paul’s obedience. If Paul had jumped overboard to not be put in front of Caesar they could have died.

It is our responsibility to be obedient to the voice of God even in the chaos. It could be that our obedience will save the lives of others

  38. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.

Even when we’re going through our storm, God I’d able to keep us. His keeping power keeps us from the hands of the enemy. Our God is an awesome God.

  39. 35 And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

    We are blessed

  40. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

No matter the circumstances, be of good cheer and trust in the Lord

  41. Proverbs 15:32
Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence.

There are lots of folks out there who act like they listen to instruction, but they don’t. If only folks would humble their selves and truly listen it would save them from a lot of regrets

  42. “And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

These carnal men put their trust in a man instead of God. They were in a middle of a storm for many, many days. And they chose not to call on the name of the Lord. If they would’ve had only harken to the man of God and heed to his words. They wouldn’t be in such a mess.

So many times in our lives we go through storms and shipwrecks. We catch ourselves losing hope and falling into depression and filling our whole days with anxiety. Never finding rest. But these troubles are caused by us. And the lack of respect for the man of God in our lives. If we would’ve just prayed and asked for wisdom we wouldn’t be in the chaotic mess that were in!

“saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Cæsar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭27:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God showed the whole ship mercy because of one mans prayers and his desire to fulfill the call of God in his life. God seen Paul in the middle of mess that these idiots have caused. And had mercy on the whole group. Because Paul must stand trial before The emperor.

When God says and tells you to do something. You make it the plan and calling of your life and Jesus will do the rest of the work for you. He will open doors, even when you see there is no way out. He’ll make the way.

  43. “So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭27:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We have no reason to worry. Everything will work itself out. It’s in gods timing and it’s in gods planning. All we have to do is put our trust and continue to rely on him. Keep the faith keep fasting keep praying and watch god work.

  44. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.

It is kind of hard to be in the face of adversity and peril and hear someone tell you to be of good cheer and that everything is going to be alright. Paul and his shipmates landed on an island in the middle of this storm, however, they did not die. This story goes to prove a sense of comfort to each of us going through a storm in our own life. We may not end up where we want to be, but we are going to make it through this and not die! We will survive, pick ourselves up, and thrive again!!

  45. 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

When its DADDY’S WILL, NOTHING CAN COME AGAINST!!! While we have life, there is still purpose!!!

  46. “So take courage! For I believe God. It will be just as he said.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭27:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Never doubt God’s promise. It may not happen like we want it to but His Word is true. He is a God that cannot lie. Thank You Jesus for being a faithful God!
