Psalm 107

1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

13 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

15 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

16 For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

19 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.

25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.

28 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

31 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

39 Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

  2. Grant me wisdom, Oh Lord, help me see your lovingkindness………

    43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

    “Be wise”…………………………..

  3. God’s Wonderful Works

    Psalm 107:42, 43 a knowledge of God’s steadfastness and love will cause rejoicing among the righteous , silence, among the wicked, and meditation among the wise.
    Hosea 14:9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

  4. Psalm 107:2-3

    REVIVAL NOW….

    2/Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whin he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

    3/And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and frim the west, from the north, and from the south.

  5. 23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
    24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
    25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

    Sometimes we get in situations over our head, both physically and spiritually, and it seems like we are being tossed around like a ship in the storm. The sooner we cry unto the Lord, the sooner He will bring us out of our distress.

    I’m reminded of the song, ‘I Give You Jesus’; part of the first verse says,

    “If the ship of your life
    Is tossing on the sea of strife,
    You need someone…

    Chorus:
    I give you Jesus,
    He’s the peace that passes all understanding;
    I give you Jesus,
    He’s the perfect love that casteth out all fear;
    I give you Jesus,
    He’s the water that you drink and never thirst again;
    I give you Jesus, my friend,
    I give you Jesus

  6. Some of you were lost in the scorching desert, far from a town. You were hungry and thirsty and about to give up. You were in serious trouble, but you prayed to the Lord, and he rescued you.

    Some of you were prisoners suffering in deepest darkness and bound by chains,

    You were in serious trouble, but you prayed to the Lord, and he rescued you. He brought you out of the deepest darkness and broke your chains. (‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭4-6, 10, 13-14‬ CEVDCUS06)
    Yes that was me at one point in my life!
    But, The Lord heard my simple prayer as I cried out to Him on a Saturday after partying with friends. As we came home late that night. I seen my children and my son being two weeks old, and as I turned to see brother Garcia asleep and drunk. I started to cry out to GOD, saying” I didn’t want to raise my children in the same environment as I was. I was tired, lost, and tired living in sin.
    I have so much to be thankful for , and it’s the reason that my GOD deserves all the glory!!

    In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me. (‭Psalms‬ ‭120‬:‭1‬ KJV)

    Where would I be at today, if The Lord wouldn’t had heard my prayer in the time of darkness.
    LORD ITS BECAUSE OF YOUR MERCY AND LOVE, it’s by your GRACE THAT I AM FREE!!!

  7. “Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.” The word of God (Jesus) will feed ones soul, ease ones burdens, heal ones sickness, steady ones feet, and bless one, if one will praise him. Praise unto Jesus, is the answer! What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  8. Testify

    Psalm 107:1-3 NLT
    1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

    2 Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.

    3 For he has gathered the exiles from many lands, from east and west, from north and south.

    Has God been good? Then testify! I think of how we don’t always share with others what God has done for us and it makes me wonder if we are sharing enough with ourselves. If we never meditate on what God has done and is doing, how can we be ready to testify to others? I am reminded of that phrase we hear several times in Psalms: “bless the Lord, O my soul!” If we make it a practice to testify to ourselves about God, it will be only natural for it to spill over in our interactions with others.

    Psalm 103:1-2
    1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

  9. 40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
    41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
    42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
    43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the Lord.

    We see what is meant by God’s ways are so much higher and different than our ways. The Lord has a way of showing us that he loves us, but we need the wisdom to learn from observation of the great providence of God. We learn wisdom from watching what has happened to others in their walk with God. God can make a family and draw us closer together like families should be or can drive us away because of our rebellion. How we react too his word when it is preached to us makes all the difference. We can become wanderers in the wilderness or workers in the kingdom. What we become is up to us and how we react is up to us.
    The Lord can raise us up and work for our best interest or can cut us off and allow us to become rebellious.
    We should pray everyday for God to help us understand the loving kindness of our great God. Help us Lord to be more like you!!

  10. GOING DEEP

    23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
    24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.

    Too often people desire to see the deep things of GOD from the beach. Just as we cannot see the numerous creatures and wonders of the sea from the secure sandy beach, we cannot see the numerous miracles and wonders from the shallow places in the SPIRIT of GOD.

    We must LAUNCH OUT into the deep TODAY. Miracles, Signs and Wonders await us today as we prepare for a LANDMARK Day at The Pentecostals of Fort Worth.

    GOD is desiring to reveal WONDERS in the deep today, it is our choice to go into the sea of deep waters.

  11. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
    Have you told anyone how you been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. The word of the Lord says confess with your mouth… Tell everyone you know what the Lord has done for you. He pick me off the muddy mess cleaned me up, dressed me with the best garments and made me His bride. I love my Savior!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

  12. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. (‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭13‬ NKJV)

    When we are in trouble we look to you and lean on you for your love and mercy. We need you I need you.
    You come to our help thank you Jesus!

    I have faith in you.
    Hallelujah!

  13. It’s raining salvation in Fort Worth.

    Psalms 107:35-38
    He changes a wilderness into a pool of water And a dry land into springs of water; And there He makes the hungry to dwell, So that they may establish an inhabited city, And sow fields and plant vineyards, And gather a fruitful harvest. Also He blesses them and they multiply greatly, And He does not let their cattle decrease.

    The wilderness of false doctrine shall be a well of apostolic truth. The lost shall be filled with the Spirit of life. Those that are hungry for God will dwell in his temple. The fields are ready for the harvest. We will be blessed and will multiply greatly. Our resources will no longer decrease.

    The check is in the mail.

  14. 43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things,
    even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.
    (Psalms 107:43 KJVStrongs)

    The love of God is revealed more and more as we follow after him and keep his word.

    15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
    (John 14:15 KJVStrongs)

    Keep means to watch, guard, and keep your eyes on. To stay successful in the kingdom we must always keep his word in the forefront of our minds.

  15. 8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    Lord, You are so good to me all the time and all the time You are so good!

  16. The psalmist calls the redeemed to praise God. In series of vivid images he contrasts the lost state with the release that redemption brings. Exercising his powers over nature God will remake our barren earth and revitalize our barren lives .

  17. 22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

    We have the opprotunity to give. Not just of money but of time and talent. So what are good at? There is a place for you in the body of Christ. If we do it with a thankful heart, it is good. A sacrifice hurts. It’s the cutting away of something. What is it for you? It is different for everyone. When we sacrifice we must not measure it up to someone else’s sacrifice. For there sacrifice is different and costly to them. So sacrifice what you can.

  18. 8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
    Praise God for his wondrous work tonight! God done did it again! HE is an on time God..oh yess if is.

  19. Verses 1-2 NLT “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.” This reminded me of the song that we sing that says “We won’t stop till the whole world knows”. There are so many that are still wandering in the wilderness as verse 4 says, and it is our place to speak out and tell them about the goodness of our God.

  20. iLove to eat the Word

    The Lord performed a mighty miracle at The Pentecostals of Fort Worth tonight!

    31 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

  21. YES LORD!!!
    THANK YOU DADDY!!! I PRAISE YOU HALELUJAH!!!

  22. 21 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

    43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

    Time and time again He is there. I could ask myself the question, how many times have I forgotten the lovingkindness of the Lord? A friend once said to me in a conversation that no matter what she had done The Lord was always there waiting with His arms open. The Lord is good to us. Like a poet in love gets inspired, he finds so many ways to get close to our lives.
    Why would not we praise Him then?
    The Lord is good. He is slow to anger and rich in mercy

  23. 31 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    His works in my life:

    Forgiveness
    A loving family
    I get to be a part of the greatest move of God since the disciples of Jesus walked the earth.
    I am breathing
    I live

    And the list goes on and on…

  24. 43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

    We must always pray for wisdom from God. We should never stop asking for understanding either.

    Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭4‬:‭5-9‬ KJV)

  25. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so. 1. O GIVE thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Ps. 106 : 10 3. And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. Ps. 106 : 47, Jer. 29 : 14 4. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6. Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. I AM VICTORIOUS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST !!!! LET the REDEEMED of the LORD say so!!!!! I AM REDEEMED !!!!!
