Isaiah 28

1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

14 Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

29 This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

  1. What’s going to break your pride you stiff neck people. Will the plow that rip the earth or the wheel that crushes the corn, or are you going to have to be beat for threshing. Pride and beauty are temporary for something will sooner or later corrupt it and fades it away. There is nothing more beautiful that a humble person worshipping God.

  2. 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

I want to thank God for the rest we get when we receive the Holy Ghost.
He said with stammering lips and another tongue, surely this was prophecy about the Holy Ghost that we would be able to receive when the comforter comes.

Isaiah went on to say this is The REST where the weary can rest. The refreshing that would come from the presence of the LORD. Thank you JESUS for the Holy Ghost and the refreshing that comes from God.

  3. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

I am so thankful that we have a God that we can go to in time of need and just to get rest. God is my refuge and strong tower where the righteous run to. Reminds of the old song:

Where do I go when there’s nobody else to turn to?
Who do I talk to when nobody wants to listen?
Who do I lean on when there’s no foundation stable?

    I go to the rock
    I know He’s able
    I go to the rock

The Lord is the rock I go to the rock for my salvation
I go to the stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain and the mountain, he stands by me

When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend
    I go to the rock

Where do I go, where do I go
When the storms of life are threatening?
Who do I turn to when those winds of sorrows blow?
And is there a refuge in the time of tribulation?

    I go to the rock
    I know He’s able
    I go to the rock

The Lord is a rock for my salvation
The Lord is the stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain and the mountain, he stands by me

When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend
    I go to the rock

The Lord is a rock for my salvation
The Lord is the stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain and the mountain, he stands by me

When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend
    I go to the rock

    I go to the rock
    I go to the rock
    I go to the rock

You can go to the rock
You can go to the rock
You can go to the rock
You can go to the rock

When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend
    I go to the rock

  4. 25.-when he hath made plain the earth thereof, doth he not cast a broth the ditches and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rice in their place?26.- for his God doth instruct him to discretion and doth teach him.
27.-for the ditches are not threshed
With a threshing instrument, neather is a cart wheel turned about the cummin; but the ditches are bitten up with a staff and the cummin with a rod…….
    ——-
What our purpose here after being blessed with SALVATION?
    — to obey God, to fulfill his plan and to be a blessing to those around us by sharing GOD. And to BE HAPPY during the proses.
NOW, it’s not gonna be easy, but if we want God’s will in our present lives until…. We must trust HIM in everything and made up our mgds that he knows and is aware of everything happening in our lives.
We just need to trust him.
He’s gonna do it HIS way, at HIS perfect time.
It’s better for him to mold us, it’s better for him to take action and NOT us!
    ——-
I am guilty of things I have done and said, I am guilty for letting my mind go wild and letting circumstances intefeer between GOD, my faith and I.
But today is another day, another fresh day if his mercies, another chance, and I am thankful for that, I repent, I accept Gods forgiveness and I will rejoice believing and ( reminding myself )
That GOD is GOD and he knows
    EVERYTHING!!!
GOD is on my side and he is the way!!
    Thank you JESUS!!!!

  5. TRUE REST = GOD’S REST

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

    HALLELUJAH!

Another great reason to be FILLED with the Gift of the HOLY GHOST!

The outpouring of HIS Spirit is the resource that GOD chose to GIVE HIS people REST. Too often people think their rest is found in time off, time away, being absent. While all of these are beneficial to the physical body, the soul/spirit of a man that is continually battered with fiery darts from the wicked and temptations from the world; is not much assisted by getting away.

***The only true way to get away is to BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

If you are weary and tired with the cares of this life; NOW stop what you are doing and go PRAY until you are renewed in the HOLY SPIRIT, you will know you are renewed when you begin to speak words you cannot understand.

    12…and this is the refreshing:

    Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

BE Refreshed NOW in the Holy Ghost, do not wait another week, day, hour or minute. NOW Pray

    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

    NOW

  6. Listen to me; listen, and pay close attention. (Isaiah 28:23 NLT)

God let my ears be sensitive to Your voice and to Your word when I read it.

He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!” (Isaiah 28:10 NLT)

If You have to repeat things to me…then repeat, because I want to know all that You want to teach me…I want to understand…God I thank you for all that you have taught me and will teach me and I’m sorry for all the times I ignored You or didn’t listen…forgive me…..I love you Jesus

  7. He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!” God has told his people, “Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest.” But they would not listen. So the Lord will spell out his message for them again, one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there, so that they will stumble and fall. They will be injured, trapped, and captured. (Isaiah 28:10, 12, 13 NLT)
Even after the rest that The Lord has brought unto us we still
Have reason to complain! For real….. Why is that some are still not joyful, wanting to live their lives to the fullest potential that God has placed in us.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: (Philippians 2:14 KJV)
I don’t understand how some can argue against the word of God which is His voice. It’s no wonder why many keep going through the same old cycle!

  8. 11 for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people.
12 To whom he said, this is the rest where with ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Spiritual rest, comfort, and peace is something everyone seeks; no one wants to constantly be at war with themselves or another. That is a fact; I don’t care who you are.

We are never going to find this peace in the world.
Evangelist Nick Mehaney said so himself that he longed after the rest and peace the Holy Ghost offers, but never achieved it through devices of “lucy”. (satan)

That is why we must never give into temptation because letting fleshly temptation get the best of us leads only to DEATH and DESPAIR.

  9. Verse 16 NLT “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.” Why would you build your life on anything else, besides a sure and safe cornerstone???

The end of verse 29 MSG says “….The farmer knows how to treat each kind of grain. He’s learned it all from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, who knows everything about when and how and where.” There is no need to fret or worry, when we give our lives to Him he knows the “when’s”, the “how’s” and the “where’s”. Our job is to believe, trust and obey. Praise God.

  10. 10 He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”
11 So now God will have to speak to his people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!
12 God has told his people, “Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest.” (NLT)

20 The bed you have made is too short to lie on. The blankets are too narrow to cover you. (NLT)

My mom always said to me when I wasn’t paying attention and not listening, “Don’t make me repeat myself!” Just like in verse 20 we may not understand and try to seek out our own way to rest but will find that nothing satisfies. I thank God He speaks until we understand and brings us a peace and place of rest, because there is no better place to be and rest than with Jesus.

  11. 9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

We must not become content and satisfied with the milk in our relationship with The Lord. How many 5 year olds do you see still taking a bottle? Continuing on milk because it requires nothing of us is selfish. God has great knowledge and understanding Zhe desires to give each of us, but we chart our own growth course. It’s time we start maturing into the Christians God has called us up be

  12. 1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

All their wealth & beauty of their land caused them to be proud plus they & the priests were drinkers! Their prideful spirit brought destruction and their drunken mind brought deceit. But there is a promise for God’s people: the rest of the Holy Ghost! There is nothing in this world that compare to His rest! It is joy unspeakable & full of glory!

  13. When Jesus repeats things to me, I thank Him that I’m getting another chance. Sometimes I’m stubborn and don’t want to listen but that’s when I have to humble myself and listen to Gods voice and direction.
Lord let me hear your voice and be sensitive to your presence.

  14. ” Afflictions are God’s threshing instruments, to loosen us from the world, to part between us and our chaff, and to prepare us for use. God will proportion them to our strength; they shall be no heavier than there is need. When his end is answered, the trials and sufferings of his people shall cease; his wheat shall be gathered into the garner, but the chaff shall be burned with unquenchable fire.”

  15. I will use justice as a measuring line and goodness as the standard. The lies you hide behind will be destroyed as if by hail. They will be washed away as if in a flood. Your agreement with death will be erased; your contract with death will not help you. When terrible punishment comes, you will be crushed by it. Whenever punishment comes, it will take you away. It will come morning after morning; it will defeat you by day and by night. Those who understand this punishment will be terrified.” You will be like the person who tried to sleep on a bed that was too short and with a blanket that was too narrow to wrap around himself. (Isaiah 28:17-20 NCV)

There’s no hiding from God. You’ll get to a place where you’ll get uncomfortable and begin to seek God. That’s His ultimate goal to seek and to save that which is lost. Seek God while you have a chance.

  16. Isaiah 28:10
    For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept;
    line upon line, line upon line;
here a little, and there a little:

Precept – h6673. צו saw; or צו tsav; from 6680; an injunction:— commandment, precept.
    AV (9)- precept 8, commandment 1;
command, ordinance, oracle ( meaning dubious) used in mocking mimicry of Isaiah’s words and thus not a true divine command.

Line – h6957. קו qaw; or קו qav; from 6960 (compare 6961); a cord (as connecting), especially for measuring; figuratively, a rule; also a rim, a musical string or accord:— line. Compare 6978.
    AV (21)- line 20, rule 1;
cord, line, measuring- line cord measuring- line ( BDB) onomatapoetic mimicry of Isaiah’s words, perhaps senseless

Both definitions insert a senseless, or useless attachment. It is as if they are trying to say that this is not really important.

Yet in other passages of scripture this is not the case. When Jesus said verily verily it was intensifying the truth. It is truly, TRULY!

The remarkable passage in Isaiah is prophesying of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. To say this is senseless is far from the truth.

This is bedrock! With stammering lips and another tongue he does speak to his people!

  17. ILove to eat the Word

    “Don’t be a mocker”

22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Those who mock, according to the Word, their bands and chains will not be broken but instead will become stronger and harder to be broken.

  18. 3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
5 In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

    Which Crown?

As we walk through this life we have a choice to make, dowe want a crown of pride or of glory?

With pride we get to stand tall and boast of all that we have accomplished and or done. With a crown of glory, we take pleasure in knowing that we got to be a part of what God is doing, but we keep the focus on Him.

The word tells us that pride comes before distruction, and it also says that if He be lifted up He will draw all me to him, not me or anyone else, but him.. I want to continue to strive to do His work, and lift him up, from a humble heart….

  19. 23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and rie in their place?
26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

There is a time and a season to all things. There is a time to plow, time to sow and a time to reap. Know the seasons of your life, thank The Lord for the season of reaping for the POFW.

    Time to reap Souls
    Time to reap Healing
Time to reap Deliverance from fear
    Time to reap Miracles
    Time to reap Signs
    Time to reap Wonders

It is the day of “Notable Miracles”.

  20. We must learn of God little by little and be patient with others as they begin their journey toward God. We must encourage them and be instant in season to answer their questions.

  21. So now God will have to speak to his people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language! (Isaiah 28:11 NLT)

This reminds me of Lexy Marquez and another girl she was help praying through to the HG, and the girl started speaking in a language she didn’t understand but to Lexy she was speaking pure Spanish.

  22. Fading Beauty

Partygoers of ancient times sometimes wore beautiful crowns or wreaths on their heads, much like today’s glitzy tiara’s and party hats of today. The prophet compares Samaria, capital of the northern kingdom, to a withering wreath. Samaria is a beautiful city, and the pride of the people. She sits on a hill overlooking a fertile valley. But she is decaying, withering, dying. Assyria destroys the city in 722 B.C. and takes its inhabitants into captivity.

  23. Mocking Priests

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

The priests ridicule Isaiah’s message of doom, claiming it’s too elementary, like someone who teaches the alphabets to children- a little here, a little there. These spiritual leaders claim to know the difference between right and wrong, but they miss God’s warnings all together. Consequently, God says, with a little here and a little there, the Jews will lose their freedom to Assyria (Isa 28:13). What began as the priests mocking Isaiah turns into mocking the priests.

The wicked often mock God’s messengers. Even Jesus knew he would be mocked by unbelievers (Mk 10:33-34; Lk 18:31-33). But mocking the Lord’s words or his servants is a dangerous buisness. Isaiah proclaims, “The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down” (Isa 29:20).

Rev 3: 9 “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”

  24. Grow up

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

We have to get over the small things and learn to eat on our own, keep ourselves clean, shelter ourselves. all these things represent our walk… we have to learn to read the word on our own, don’t wait on someone to tell you you haven’t blogged in a few days before you realize that your hungry. I know when I get hungry I’m going to eat. We starve ourselves sometimes spiritually until we cant think strait. If you don’t eat for a few days, everyone that has ever fasted knows, your mind will wander. A good Sheppard will lead you to the food so that you have every opportunity to eat. This is what the blog is for. It is a structured meal that if you eat it you will never go hungry. This church has made it easy for us to always have the opportunity to eat. so for that reference there is no refute. we have no excuse as to why we are still hungry.

We also don’t need to wait till someone says that we stink before we take a bath. I have to tell my boys all the time to take a bath because i guess they don’t realize they stink. Me on the other hand as soon as I get off of work I want to get a shower before I do anything else. I have learned that if I take a shower before I do anything else it feels like I have restarted my day and i feel refreshed for the rest of my day and it is much more enjoyable. The same with repenting. If you get the junk off of you first then you will feel a whole lot better but you cant wait until altar call once or twice a week to repent. I want to get clean as quick as possible. Its like a dump truck… When the truck is loaded don it cant shift into it =s higher gears because they are for higher speeds. The weight of the truck when it is loaded will not allow the truck to reach those speeds. So the truck can only go so fast. The truck also gets terrible gas mileage when it is loaded. When it unloads it gets better gas mileage and it can reach its highest possible speed. So be like the dump truck at the altar and unload everything, fill up with gas then go as high as you were designed to go.

If you have a roof over your head tonight it is because God has blessed you with it. No one should have to tell you when it is storming to get yourself inside. It is for your protection. The same goes for keeping ourselves obedient and being covered spiritually with our Pastor and the church. If we could keep our covering the storms of life would not effect us so badly. i sleep through storms all the time and people ask me “how can you sleep through that?” i respond that I’m confident in the covering. You can walk in a sure boldness in the storm if you stay covered.

The maturity of our walk with God will determine the depth of our revelation.

  25. I am thankful for the refreshing of the Holy Ghost in my life. I’m also grateful that with stammering lips and another tongue He has spoke to me several times over the years. I pray I always am able to hear the voice of God in my life.

  26. True Worth

Things of this life fade; the temporal is just that, temporal, and as such has temporal value. But there is true worth in Christ, in Calvary, in the Blood, in Pentecost. In life we quickly get snared by things that really don’t matter and miss the blessing of things that do. We are instructed to cast off not only sin but weights, things that hinder and drag us down. What temporal things are weights to us? We must take inventory and trim down our life to become a fit vessel of true worth.

    Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

    Luke 8:5-8
5 A sower went out to sow his seed:and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

    Luke 8:14
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

    1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

God can handle the weights if we submit it to Him…

    Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

  27. 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

I thank the Lord for the chief cornerstone, the firm foundation who is our Lord Jesus Christ. Seems to be the prophecy of the coming messiah.
He that believeth in Him shall not be moved
    Ephesians 2:20
20 Ye are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

  28. Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one , which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm , as a flood of mighty waters overflowing , shall cast down to the earth with the hand .
    NET
Look, the sovereign master sends a strong, powerful one. With the force of a hailstorm or a destructive windstorm, with the might of a driving, torrential rainstorm, he will knock that crown to the ground with his hand.

There is a mighty and strong man of God within this city to reproach the wickedness in this city.

Thank you Pastor for answering the call, and thank God for allowing me to buy into the vision. The vision to trample the spiritual wickedness in high places under your direction.

You are the Governor of this region. The commander and chief. The army of the young will rise up under your direction and anointing. You are david and you have and we, those of us who buy in to your passion and submit to your authority without question, are your mighty men of valor.

  29. Oh to folly.

7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

I have hard many people talk about how they don’t understand groups who don’t drink. “Jesus drank wine. Why can’t I drink it too?” Well, you can drink if you want, but I say, slow down buckaroo! Just because others do/did it doesn’t mean it’s right for you or me.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. (1 Corinthians 10:23 KJV)
