Haggai 2

1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying,

2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lordof hosts.

8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,

11 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the Lord:

16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the Lord.

18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider it.

19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

20 And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

23 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the Lord of hosts.

  1. Blessings come in the building of the Temple.

It is time for blessings, it is time to turn things around, it is time to build the TEMPLE POFW…

  2. The Message version reads: 4-5 “So get to work, Zerubbabel!’—God is speaking. Get to work, Joshua son of Jehozadak—high priest! Get to work, all you people!’—God is speaking. Yes, get to work! For I am with you.”

We have been working towards Impacting our Future Together! The Lord knows our efforts. He is on our side.

The chapter continues with: “They’ll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.’ God-of-the-Angel-Armies says so. I own the silver, I own the gold.’ AMEN!!!

Again, the chapter reads: 18-19 “‘Now think ahead from this same date—this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Think ahead from when the Temple rebuilding was launched. Has anything in your fields—vine, fig tree, pomegranate, olive tree—failed to flourish? From now on you can count on a blessing.”

Amen! God is moving on the people who are sowing into IFT! Each week we are reminded with the bulletin of all the miracles God id doing among us. Let’s keep the momentum and watch what God will continue to do!!

  3. 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lordof hosts.

8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

What great promise! If we will just hold on we will see God shake the nations. The glory of the later house, the last day house will be greater than the former.

This is why we must never give up. When we do we walk away moments from the break through.

Now faith says God has already done it and I’m watching it unfold!

God has done many amazing things at the silver saddle rd location. However the glory of the latter house, the future buildings will be far greater than what has happened thus far!

  4. Verses 4-5 AMP “Yet now be strong, alert, and courageous, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; be strong, alert, and courageous, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, alert, and courageous, all you people of the land, says the Lord, and work! For I am with you, says the Lord of hosts. According to the promise that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit stands and abides in the midst of you; fear not.” We just heard this message last night, “Fear Not”, God is with us.

Verses 4-8 MSG “‘So get to work, Zerubbabel!’—God is speaking. “‘Get to work, Joshua son of Jehozadak—high priest!’ “‘Get to work, all you people!’—God is speaking. “‘Yes, get to work! For I am with you.’ The God-of-the-Angel-Armies is speaking! ‘Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I’m living and breathing among you right now. Don’t be timid. Don’t hold back.’ “This is what God-of-the-Angel-Armies said: ‘Before you know it, I will shake up sky and earth, ocean and fields. And I’ll shake down all the godless nations. They’ll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.’ God-of-the-Angel-Armies says so. ‘I own the silver, I own the gold.’ Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.” The time is “Right Now”, just like we heard last night.

  5. 19. I am giving you a promise now while the seed is still in the barn. You have not yet harvested your grain, and your grapevines, fig trees, pomegranates, and olive trees have not yet produced their crops. But from this day onward I will bless you. NLT

We don’t hope He will bless us, we have faith that it has already begun.

  6. 16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.
This reminds me a lot of Ananias and saphira in the book of acts, when they chose not to bring their tithes and offering to the church and lied and said they did. We many times as Christians, either do or know someone else who does the same, we Are wArned over and over In the WORD about stealing from GOD, yet continually people today seem to be practicing the same bad habits as they do it week after week…….
If we as the Church would bind together and give as we were called to, we would see this region transformed faster right before our eyes, as souls would be added to the kingdom such as should be. If GOD can’t trust us with a few dollars how is HE going to trust us with so many souls.

  7. HALELUJAH!!! 1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying,

Do we really want to hear what the prophet is saying (GOD)???
Often times we as people try to justify wrong actions not realizing that by “justifying” we are calling GOD a liar!!! I praise you JESUS!!! Thank you JESUS I love you JESUS

  8. HALELUJAH!!! 1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying,

  9. WE AINT SEEN NOTHIN YET

    6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lordof hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

While I pray and meditate daily over the resources and situations that pertain to the house of the LORD. I am thankful for this reminder today that the LORD, he is GOD.

Suddenly, at any moment HE could shake the heavens and the earth that are HIS. At any moment he give resources (silver and gold) to fulfill his plan for the harvest in Fort Worth.

    PROMISE:
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

AMEN! Even so SPEAK NOW LORD! According to your WORD! Thank you JESUS for this PROMISE!

You picked a bad time to leave! Greater GLORY is coming. Prevailing PEACE is arriving the LORD said SO!

  10. Vs.4, “Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all the people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:”
Vs.5, “According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remainth among you, fear ye not.”

The Lord told Zerubbabel, Joshua, and all the people of the land to be strong and work for he was with them, and that they were not to be afraid because his spirit was with them. God is speaking to us, POFW, to be STRONG and WORK and not to be afraid for he is with us, too.

2 Tim.1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Eph. 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

It’s time, right NOW, to overcome the spirits of fear, doubt, and hope.
It’s time, right NOW, to be STRONG, to WORK, and BELIEVE !

  11. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

20 And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

    21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Once upon a time in the city of Fort Worth there was a large Apostolic Church that had a mighty anointing, but sin entered in and the congregation was lost to charasmatic ways. There were prophesies for Fort Worth that have never yet came to pass. I believe the latter will be greater than the past. The Lord has established yet again an Apostolic Church that will be known worldwide for the prayer and faith that will be exhibited there, because signs, wonders and miracles will flow out from it. Those things that hinder and prevail right now, will be overthrown, and destroyed and the Lord will make a signet, (place his stamp of approval on, make an impression with) the truly Apostolic Church. POFW this is us. God is confirming His word to us. Let’s be the army of Apostolics that rise up to the task before us. Don’t let anything destroy unity or cause division. Guard our hearts and our minds. Gird up our loins, lift up the hands of our Pastor and stand for we have been chosen by God for such a time as this!

  12. 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

The message to Judah is BE STRONG and work for I am with you. He let them Know I will keep my covenant that I promised. With this my spirit will be with you, and remove all fear.

We live in the time when we can see what God will do, if we will be obedient to his calling and BE STRONG AND WORK.
There is that four letter word that keeps getting in the way (WORK). If we see anything in God we must work. The scripture teaches us we must work while it is day for the night will come when no man will work!!
Help us Lord work for the kingdom of God! We do not need to say later but now.
POFW let’s go to Work and see it happen!

  13. But now the Lord says: Be strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong, Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised when you came out of Egypt. So do not be afraid.’ (Haggai 2:4, 5 NLT)

There’s completely different when you know the Lord God Jesus Christ is on your side and is cheering you on saying Be strong … it’s time to work … don’t be afraid. I find comfort and strength in the Word.

  14. 4 But now the Lord says: Be strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong, Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
5 My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised when you came out of Egypt. So do not be afraid.’ (NLT)

No more excuses! God has made us STRONG and He is always with us. He said do not be afraid, and NOW get to WORK. Let’s go!

  15. ilove to eat the Word

    And Work

4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

One thing that is always approved of God is Work. When God put Adam in the garden, he put him there to work. When He put Eve in the garden, He put her there to help the man work.

We should love to work. IT is the will of God to work. Even if our job is cleaning port a potties for a living, we should do it with all of our hearts and be thankful.

God loves to see his children work in his kingdom as well. Whether it is preaching or cleaning the restroom, God loves and even commands work.

    Proverbs 14:23 ►
    New International Version
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

  16. Haggai’s message to the Israelites wanted them to get their priorities in order, to stop worrying, and to rebuild the Temple. They were placing a higher priority on their personal comfort rather than God’s work. How appropriate a message for us at POFW as well.

  17. 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

  18. 6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

All that we have is God’s, so why do we have such a hard time giving it back God. If we use what we have God will multiple it, so that it will not only bless the kingdom of God but we will also have our needs met.
Let’s work for the kingdom of God and see all the great things He is going to do for POFW!!!!!

  19. 13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Israel was once again disillusioned that they were okay with God. But God knows our hearts.

As I read this the thought came to me: when we allow ourselves to die spiritually our work for the kingdom becomes unclean. We begin to go through the motions and our worship is vain. We have touched the dead. It’s time for a reviving of our spirits, we must be full of life to show others to the life. If we seek revival for ourselves and others God will meet us on our search and pour out revival.

  20. All belongs to Jesus – tithes, offerings, vows, and prayer

8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts:
and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts
    (Haggai 2:8-9 KJV)

It looks like we need to quit being stingy. Let us get a building built.

11 Who has first given to me, that I should repay him?
Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine
    (Job 41:11 ESV)

We are stewards for God of what ever we receive. Nothing belongs to us. Even my house, once paid off, does not belong to me. It is God’s then it is the governments. If I fail to pay taxes, they will take it. Seriously, nothing belongs to us. So, why do we hold onto everything so tightly?

12 “If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for the world and its fullness are mine.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls
or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and perform your vows to the Most High,
    15 and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me
    (Psalms 50:12-15 ESV)

It seems the order is tithes, sacrificial offerings of thanksgiving, performance of vows (IFT), then we call upon the Lord and he delivers. This is what glorifies Jesus. It all belongs to him anyway.

  21. Do You See What I See?

God challenged the leaders to see through their own eyes what was on His heart. It reminds me of Nehemiah:

    Nehemiah 1:3-4
3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

    Nehemiah 2:1-3
1 And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.

2 Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,

3 And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?

God allows us to observe different opportunities regarding His kingdom, and it reminds me of the ‘proverb,’ “if God let’s you see it, it’s so you can do something about it.” Perhaps it’s a call to serving hand-ons, or maybe it’s more a call to prayer and intercession. There are different ways that may apply to fulfill the need we see but in the end it calls for us to participate in several particular ways:

    1) Be sensitive to see the Need: if we’re too busy running around with cares and burdens, or simply too carnal in our attitude, we are likely to be blind and uncaring to the need when it’s presented

    2) Be sensitive to hear the Voice: God will speak to us about what we see if we’re watching and listening; the Bible instructs us to “watch and pray,” so if that line of communication is open concerning what we see, we present God an open opportunity to speak and use us

    3) Be sensitive to obey the Call: the gospels give many examples of people who turned away from Jesus at His call; it wasn’t that they didn’t notice what was going on or didn’t hear Him, but they decided for whatever reason not to follow through; disobedience due to ignorance is one thing, but how must it hurt God even more when He not only catches our eye and our ear concerning a matter but we refuse to allow Him to catch our heart?

I forget who it was, but we once heard a preacher speak of “divine appointments.” I believe God has divine appointments throughout our every day living but I wonder how many I personally miss because I may not be watching or listening as I should? Our lives are as Christians are very much non-coincidental. You never know when or how God will bring an opportunity but we must be “instant in season out of season” and ready to see what God sees as we go about our lives.

  22. people in the world watch what we do hear what we say and see the way we act GOD has helped us from so much yet we refuse to see a soul that was once an enemy of ours..we sometimes don’t like to hear what the prophets have to say sometimes because were to stubborn and hard headed..
    thank you JESUS..

  23. 16 how did it go with you? Isn’t it true that your foot-dragging, halfhearted efforts at rebuilding the Temple of God were reflected in a sluggish, halfway return on your crops – half the grain you were used to getting, half the wine? 17 I hit you with drought and blight and hail. Everything you were doing got hit. But it didn’t seem to faze you. You continued to ignore me.’ God’s Decree. MSG

When we are doing God’s work we need to do it with all our heart not half hearted. We are being watched by people that we don’t know are even watching us. Time to step it up a knotch and see what God’s going to do.

  24. This chapter illustrates assessment. A self-assessment revealed much. An honest self-assessment and a true desire for God’s (Jesus) will to be done, will release blessings; “from this day will I bless you”. What a mighty God we serve! God bless Jerusalem and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  25. Preparing for the harvest.

Be encouraged. We first must build a foundation to build the storehouse on. Without a good foundation the building will crumble. Then the building can begin. When that is finished you then can begin to fill it will the fruit of your labour. It take work to do work to have fruit.

  26. 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
    6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lordof hosts.

We have had many prophecies concerning the building of the new church. Our job is to know that God is for us and he will fulfill all of them for his glory. POFW will be a lighthouse for souls and we will see many souls come in when the time of this shaking occurs.

  27. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

It’s been stated and I stand in agreement Fort Worth is about to experience the Glory of God.

We were called to the Kingdom for such a time as this!

I once heard about a great church in this city and about the great things God begin to do. I even attend church in the very building that that church once resided. I am convinced that God has brought me to Fort Worth to be a part of what He is doing.

  28. A few older people returning from exile remember from childhood the physical splendor of Solomon’s great temple (Ezr 3:12): its size, its carvings, its walls covered with gold, its rich tapestries. The new temple will lack the lavish adornments of Solomon’s, although amazingly the exiles do bring some of the original temple articles back with them from Babylon (Ezr 1:7-11). However, the ark of the of the covenant and other important furnishings are now lost. Yet God, Creator and controller of the world’s silver and gold, assures his people that the glory of the new temple will be greater than that of the old. Previously, the glory of God was limited to a few select, annointed individuals and the Most Holy Place in the temple (1 Ki 8:11). But now, through Jesus Christ, God’s glory abides in the hearts of his people (1 Co 3:16). “19Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;” (Hag 2:3-9).

  29. Haggai was a man whom God raised up at a specific time for a specific mission.
The immediate purpose of the book is to encourage the people to resume the building of the temple, which had been incomplete for about 10 years. It was imperative that the people build the temple, for blessing from God depends on obedience.

2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

  30. 4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

Quit wording about the mess around you and go to work. Jesus found his first deciples working. The ting is that God is not drawn to our fear but he is drawn to our work. Show your faith by your work. Don’t let anyone call you down from the wall.

  31. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

Everthing belongs to the Lord, and it shall come to pass when the house of God will be built from the ground up.

  32. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts

this passage is one of my favorites in the Bible.. God was letting his people know that no matter how great it was in the past who that your future is greater than your past! thank God for a future in Him!

  33. Haggai 2:4-9 But now the Lord says: Be strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong, Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work, for I am with you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. My Spirit remains among you, just as I promised when you came out of Egypt. So do not be afraid.’ “For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land. I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this Temple. I will fill this place with glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”

Wow as I finished reading this chapter in several different translations the same thought came to mind of Saturday nights prayer meeting. God spoke to the house about hearing His voice. I feel so strongly in my heart of how this is as a promise for the POFW now… Press on…go forward. Keep working. If the Lord Jesus could make it any clearer for us, I think He would say, let’s impact the future together, for I am with you.

Joshua 1:8-9 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

  34. I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the Lord. (Haggai 2:17 KJV)
When we are going through life and things turn bad, where do we turn? I like to think that I turn to God. Some other options might be: government (food stamps and money), friends (what ever they will give you), misguided businesses (for a hand out), and doctors (for health and wisdom).

GOD KNOWS ALL. GOD ANSWERS ALL. When trials come, JESUS! When sickness comes, JESUS! When famine or drought, JESUS! When finances fail, JESUS! When death is at the door, JESUS!

HISNANE IS GREATER AND HIS BLOOD IS MORE POWERFUL! JESUS!!!!

  35. Holiness and uncleanness 10. In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Da-ri’-us, came the word of the LORD by Hag’-gai the prophet, saying, 11. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, 12. If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shallit be holy? And the priests answered and said, NO. 13. Then said Hag’-gai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. 14. Then answered Hag’-gai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. 15. And now I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

  36. By being obedient to the words of your authority you will be blessed. If you are to take those words and manipulate them to your own satisfaction, you’re simply asking for punishment. The one who first manipulated Gods word was the devil, now if you do the same thing to not only His word but your authority figures words as well, what does that make you?

  37. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

When you think you have it all, just remember it all belongs to God. We must not forget who created the heavens, the earth and everything in between. God is truly worthy to be praised.
