Titus 2

1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

  1. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    The grace of God should always be in our lives. Grace has and will appear to all people and what we do with that grace is important. We can allow God to lead us into all truth and righteousness or not follow after the things of God.
    Grace will teach us to live Godly in this present world and teach us the things we should overcome. Let’s let grace work in our lives today!

  2. 13. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    14. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    The Great God and Jesus Christ gave Himself…not themselves!

  3. 15. So, Titus, tell them all these things. Encourage and teach them with all authority-and rebuke them with the same. You are a man called to serve, so don’t let anyone belittle you.

    Don’t let anyone convince you that you are less than they are or belittle you. You have been called to service by the Creator of the universe, God Almighty; that shows how much you are loved and how important you are, don’t let them tell you otherwise.

  4. 10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

    Others should be able to see Jesus living in us by what we say and do.

  5. 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

    The word we speak will tell a lot about who we are and what we believe. Let your words be thoughtful and directed by the Word of God.

    A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. -Luke 6:45

    Have a great day!
    Lord Bless you all!

  6. Verses 13-14 AMP “Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One), Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds.” Same verses MSG “This new life is starting right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious day when our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears. He offered himself as a sacrifice to free us from a dark, rebellious life into this good, pure life, making us a people he can be proud of, energetic in goodness.” This reminded me of some encouraging words that Bro. Crockett gave to the Children’s Ministry this past Sunday.

    John 3:16 KJV “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

  7. Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness ,gravity, sincerity,

    Be an Example
    I Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, and purity

  8. Titus 2:2
    That the aged men be sober grve temperate sound in faith in charity in patience.

    God is telling us we need to have faith and patience in order to make it to heaven and we need to have more and more rivival too . AMEN

    Young Ladies

    Titus 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

    5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

    WOW. These scriptures are definitely not politically correct! First, they teach that the young women must be taught to love their husbands and children. Do you mean love doesn’t come natural? Nope. True love is supernatural and must be taught. Jesus asked Peter 3 times if he loved him…then he said “feed my sheep.” Ladies, if you truly love your husbands then I declare to feed them! Don’t make them go to Taco Bell every night…bring them to Taco Casa. Check out what Casa means in the Spanish.

    Casa#120
    in the Spanish is “house”. When added to “Taco” it makes up the phrase “Taco House”.

    Some say that Home is where the heart is, so I say that home is where the best taco is.

    Good ole home cookin’ is good for the soul and good for Mr. Budget. It also shows love.

    Ladies, take this to heart and make tonight Taco Tuesday.

  10. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    We need to live holy! It is such an enormous lie in our world today that says we can love Jesus and live however we want to. The bible is very clear on how we are suppose to live and behave.

  11. Lifestyle

    But mostly, show them all this by doing it yourself, incorruptible in your teaching, your words solid and sane. Then anyone who is dead set against us, when he finds nothing weird or misguided, might eventually come around. (‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭7-8‬ MSG)

    Less of me and MORE of you Jesus! We must die daily so that all the people see is Jesus. They will see that He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. Let Jesus Out! Be the lighthouse! Be the Salt of the earth!

  12. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
    14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
    15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
    The goodness and wisdom of God is everlasting!

  13. EAT HIS BOOK

    1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

    INTEGRITY is a virtue of the Kingdom of GOD. The process of developing, building and sustaining INTEGRITY is the FRUIT of our desire and willingness to EAT HIS BOOK. We become what we eat, we influence others by how we live and we strengthen other by what we teach.

    If at any moment our INTERITY does not match our TEACHING both are in vain and unprofitable. The apostle clearly lays out the expectations of Elders or Leaders in the church and establishes that we are only as good as our INTEGRITY. If our lifestyle does not line up with our speech then our doctrine is confusing and corrupt.

    NLT
    1. As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.

    Our society offers a smorgasbord of false doctrine and I don’t seek to be any part of it. iPray The Pentecostals of Fort Worth will faithfully SPEAK sound doctrine, not only with our mouths, but also with our actions.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  14. This whole chapter is about teaching.
    Vs.1) Titus is to speak (teach) those things that become sound doctrine.
    Vs.2) He is to teach older men to be sober….
    Vs.3) He is to teach the aged women likewise,…
    Vs.4) The older women are to teach the young women to be sober…
    Vs.6) He is to teach the younger men to be sober minded.
    Vs.9) He is to teach servants to be obedient to their masters…
    Vs.11&12) Even the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodly and worldly lusts…

    MORE Teaching!

  15. 15 Tell them all this. Build up their courage, and discipline them if they get out of line. You’re in charge. Don’t let anyone put you down. (MSG)

    We all have a job, and a place in the kingdom of God. The one job we all share is reaching the lost. Verse 15 states “tell them ALL”…

    1 Timothy 4:12 (MSG)
    11-14 Get the word out. Teach all these things. And don’t let anyone put you down because you’re young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity. Stay at your post reading Scripture, giving counsel, teaching. And that special gift of ministry you were given when the leaders of the church laid hands on you and prayed—keep that dusted off and in use.

    We will reach them with His Word, Our lift styles, Love, Faith and Integrity.

  16. that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. (‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭4-5‬ NKJV)

    Traits of a good wife.

    Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. (‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭6-8‬ NKJV)

    How us men should be in your faith. Standing firm in what we believe in.

  17. 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
    5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

    Hallelujah Jesus! Help me Jesus be a better wife and a better mother to be obidient to your commands Jesus! Thank you Jesus for the Fusion classes here at POFW because it has helped my relationship with my husband to build a good foundation which is Jesus. Without Jesus I can’t be a better wife, mother, friend, or nothing. When we have Gods love it will overflow from he inside out! Jesus is the answer to everything!!! Thank you Jesus for your daily bread!

  18. Who is following you?

    2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

    We as the older generation should lead by example. Not do as I say but do as I do. What kind of example am I providing?

    • be men of good character
    o worthy of respect
    • use good judgment
    o sensible and self-controlled
    • be well-grounded in faith
    o know what one believes
    • know how to love
    o be of a pure heart
    • be persistent with understanding and empathy
    o don’t sweat the small stuff

    It seems so easy to put these theories and traits on paper. However, in doing so, I am forced to check myself. Can I say these things about me? Do I reflect these attributes in my daily life, a majority of the time – yes? However, I am not perfect and as the nursery rhyme sings…

    He’s still working on me
    To make me what I ought to be
    It took him just a week to make the moon and stars
    The sun and the earth and Jupiter and Mars
    How loving and patient He must be
    ‘Cause He’s still workin’ on me

    I found these verses I didn’t know existed… what a powerful song!!

    There really ought to be a sign upon my heart
    Don’t judge him yet, there’s an unfinished part
    But I’ll be better just according to His plan
    Fashioned by the Master’s loving hands

    In the mirror of His word
    Reflections that I see
    Makes me wonder why He never gave up on me
    But He loves me as I am and helps me when I pray
    Remember He’s the potter; I’m the clay

  19. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    This verse is teaching us that being immodest is ungodly, people should be able to look at you and tell that your different than the world.😌

  20. 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    Jesus died on the cross for us and we have a hard time living for him? We must not conform to this world, but we must live a life for God and God alone. Lord create in me a new heart and clean hands, create in me a desire and passion for MORE of you, and a desire to live a Godly life!

  21. Thank you Jesus for all the teach that we receive. As we read. We see many great attributes of a leader. You can tell a good leader because people are willing to follow.

  22. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
    We have to make sure we don’t fill the lust of the flesh. We are to live soberly and righteous till our God comes back to get his people

  23. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    In a world where doing the wrong thing is good and doing the right thing is bad. God’s grace is still upon us and it transforms us so much that the world questions us because we don’t do, or live how they do. God’s grace will always prompt us to do right thing in any situation no matter how the world looks at it. His grace will teach is integrity and that will produce respect from others. MORE GRACE!

  24. More Filling

    Titus 2:12 (KJV Strong’s)
    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    Titus 2:12 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
    12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,

    Titus 2:12 (New Living Translation – NLT)
    12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

    When we give up worldliness, and godless living we must fill the void. We cannot expect to just not sin, and get to heaven. Our lives should turn from the world to the Lord. Instead of the spirit of the world we now need to be daily filled with his Holy Spirit.

    Instead of just turning off the filthy movies we need to turn on reading the word. Instead of just not spending time with our old wicked buddies, we now need to spend time with the Lord, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters.

    Lot lived in Sodom and the word calls him Just. He abstained from participating in their wickedness but never filled that time with righteousness. Because of his laziness approach his family was infected by Sodom, and though they were delivered from Sodom’s destruction they still carried with them the effects of Sodom’s spirit.

    The old song goes
    “Fill my way everyday with Love
    As I walk with the heavenly dove
    Let me go all the while with a song and a smile
    Fill my way everyday with Love.”

    We mustn’t only empty ourselves of the world, but also fill ourselves with his spirit!

  25. Titus 2:7-8, 15 And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. Teach the truth so that your teaching can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.

    You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say.

    We see here another great example of delegated authority.  Paul as the apostle of Jesus gave instructions to Titus on how he should live and be an example.  He pretty much told him what he should do and what he should not.  And it was up to Titus to be submitted and obey and then we see how by word of Paul, it is said, “you have the authority to correct”.   If you want authority you must be willing to let someone higher have authority over you.   If Titus was going to the people and teaching the truth correcting where he needed the authority over him is delegates from God, our Lord Jesus, to the man of God, Paul the apostle, to Titus.  Submission is really a blessing and a covering.

  26. 11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
    12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,
    13 while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.
    14 He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. (NLT)

    He loved us so much to die for us, to shed His blood so we may live freely and righteously through Him.

  27. 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

    “And now, the rest of the story…”
    I have always thought of doctrine as the baptism, Holy Ghost, oneness, you have to do this to get into heaven part of what gets taught during church. While that is true, I missed that it includes so much more, but is so well described over the next few verses. Remember faith without works is dead. I need to be more sound in doctrine.

    Maybe, just maybe if we.. if I get busy doing the “other miracle ” ( preaching the gospel to the poor), I might be found as being full of faith, having sound doctrine, and ready when Jesus comes back for His bride.

  28. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

    4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

    5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

    Words of wisdom to all women – we are training by our actions, speech and appearance the next generation. We must first be obedient ourselves and then train the younger ones. If our priorities are out of line, it will show up in our attitude of being keepers of the home, obedience to those we are submitted to, including Pastor and husband, that God’s word would not be blasphemed.

  29. v1 But SPEAK thou the things which become sound doctrine:

    As Christians we are to walk in truth …. By believing and teaching the right things. ..because HE IS TRUTH ” which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us forever” 2 John 2. ( It’s no wonder why we get excited about TRUTH !!!!

    Let us continue walking in and rejoicing in truth and godliness until JESUS COMES, no matter what trails come our way.

    MORE TRUTH

  30. I want more of you GOD!!

    Dear LORD
    Help me to see the things you want me to do for you I know all I do isn’t perfect mistake after mistake the many times I’ve felt I’ve let you down yet your there i n the end and by my side helping through the way there is no greater GOD but you LORD You Truly are my hero in all and everything you have and are doing in our lifes.

  31. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

    I want more of you GOD!!!!

    there’s been times I’ve felt like I’ve let you down but you shown me more things anyone on this planet could show a person You GOD are my hero my artist in all I do.

  32. I thank God that He hasn’t given up on me and is continuing to work on and in me. Make me like you Lord!

  33. 11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men , 12 teaching us that, denying unhappiness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

  34. We tell our kids not to talk when they’re eating, look both ways before crossing the street, not drive and talk/text yet we do it. How is it we could want the best for others and the ones we love, but not examine ourselves? Because looking in the mirror isn’t easy. We can get so wound up caring for others we never take the time. What is easy though is prayer, asking God to examine our hearts and minds. We don’t have to feel bad for doing it either, no one but Jesus is perfect. Even doctors need to see physicians.The entire chapter is about teaching: who to teach, how to teach and most of all to practice what we teach. It’s all about our integrity. Paul says to “promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching” (vs1). We are calling to living holy, seperated lives and when we live this way our teaching “can’t be criticized. Then those who oppose us will be ashamed and have nothing bad to say about us.” (vs8).

  35. We are to be vigilant with representing Christ Jesus, in an very honorable and noble manner. We are a peculiar people, and we are to be zealous for good works, and we are not of this world. Yes, we do live in this world but we are to make an impact, not allowing this world make an impact on us. We do wait in hope of our Savior Jesus Christ. We do anticipate his return, but we must remain sober, righteous, and godly. So, be that ambassador………………………………..

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    “Love never fails”…………………………………………………………………………………

  36. 12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust , we should live soberly , righteously, and godly , in this present world ;

    I know with everything that is changing in this world (not for the better), I need him to cover me with the blood. To better fight worldly temptations.

  37. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    This is our hope, the appearing of our great God Jesus Christ. But life can get in the way and we can get caught up in the affairs of life, losing sight of this great hope. This is when it is important to have elders. We need their wisdom and experience to help us get refocused on what is most important…making Heaven our home!

  38. vs-14
    He gave his life to free us from every kind of sinto cleanse us and to make us his very own people totally comitted to doing good deeds.
    This passage reminds us we were redeemed to a life of holiness marked by dedication to doing what is good.

  39. Jesus died for us, so that we can live. This battle that we are in daily is not about one person, it’s about the whole. As we continue to work together to accomplish the work of the kingdom, let us not forget the love of God.

  40. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    The Holy Ghost will teach us and lead us to truth. It will aid us in living a holy life before God and those around us. Our lifestyle should be a life of holiness that we are separate from the world yet compassionate enoughave to present Jesus to them.

  41. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

  42. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    To help keep ourselves strong we must pray and read everyday in order to stay away from worldly things.

  43. 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. There is a promise for one that will be obedient too the word of God (Jesus). “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  44. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

    4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

    5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

    We have a job to do ladies, we must teach our younger ladies that are going to be young wives how to dress Godly , the attitude you must show and the way we must love and treat the husband that God has given us ! They are watching us as an example of how they need to act !! Are we leading them wrong by not being what we should be ?? We must pray for God’s guidance in our lives, so that we can help others!

  45. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    God for you are my savior and my almighty for your elegance has appeared before me and you offer me everlasting life of salvation in your kingdom for you are my fortress and that without you god I can’t do it all on my own for you are my strength for the day we’ll come I’ll be walking beside you my father. In Jesus Name !!!

    2 Corinthians 7:16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.

    Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  46. Good Works

    11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

    Grace is more than just space for us to repent of sin, it is a process that works in us redemption and transformation. We are not just saved but changed and when grace is fulfilled, we walk in good works that reveal the life that is in us. Good works do not start this process but are a fruit of our faith and transformation. Likewise, grace does not mean we are exempt from good works, it signifies instead that we have both the opportunity and means to do them.

    Romans 12:1-2
    1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  47. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

    Be an example to others when we teach others the word of God. Shine for God.

  48. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    There is not one person in this world that God does not see. No one that has slipped passed him. He is drawing them all, from the drug addict to the lawyer no one is without notice. That is why we must be different. Not because we have already been called and that makes us better, no not that at all. But because of the fact that these people have a hunger for God and have no idea how to fill it. With all the religions and all the deception, someone could easily go looking in a place that makes them just feel better naturally. Their spirits will still be starving though and with the stand that we have taken to be unlike this world it is easier for the hungry to notice that there is something different about us. I want the holy ghost to draw people to him and use me to direct them in the direction to go. Because of the covanent we have made with God it is no surprise that we look different from everyone else. All the more better for those that are being drawn to God to notice us!

  49. The same grace is shown to us !

    11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

    12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

    Just like in Sodom this present world is worthy of the destruction of God. I thank God for the Abrahams of our age that know and walk with God in such a way that continues to turn his wrath from us. If we continue to propagate, build, manufacture, and harvest a righteousness in ourselves and the children coming up behind us we will continue to see Gods hand lift us up rather than tear us down. Thank God for grace!

  50. The Wisdom of our Elders

    The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭3-5‬ KJV)

    It would be wise if is to listen when our elders speak. If your mo ping or feeling sorry for yourself you self, don’t go seeking wisdom, you won’t like what you find.

  51. This chapter speaks a lot about self control and rejecting worldliness. As Christians, we need to practice self control so that we are not reckless like those in the world. This goes beyond the typical “sins” of the age. It should be applied to the world’s mentality of consumerism. We should be set apart in how we handle our finances and spend out time, in addition to how we treat others.

  52. Grace of God !!!! 11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Luke 3 : 6 12. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Je’-sus Christ; Acts 24 ; 15 14. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!! Glory to your name !!!! I praise you Jesus !!!! Because of you fear is gone !!!!

  53. 11 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

    This is what we always pray for, the day that comes when we see Him face to face.
    RIP to my nephew Aiden Jerimiah Nava, a stillborn baby. The first one he saw when he opened his eyes was Jesus in all his glory. What a great blessing.
