Deuteronomy 10

1 At that time the Lord said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.

2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.

3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.

4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the Lord spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the Lord gave them unto me.

5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the Lord commanded me.

6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his stead.

7 From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.

8 At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

9 Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the Lord is his inheritance, according as the Lord thy God promised him.

10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also, and the Lord would not destroy thee.

11 And the Lord said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.

12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

15 Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

22 Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the Lord thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.

“For the LORD your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords. He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Amen, we have a perfect God who knows and sees everything. There is nothing we can say or do that can get over on the Lord. Thank You Jesus!

  3. 21. He alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise, the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes. NLT

We have already seen miracles at POFW, and we know these two facts about them:
    1. Only the one, true, living God can do them, so He alone is worthy of our praise.
    2. There are many more to come.
    —–
    22. When your ancestors went down into Egypt, there were only seventy of them. But now the LORD your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky! NLT

Soon people will be saying similar things of POFW:
When the Watts went into Fort Worth, there were only a few of them. But now the Lord our God has made them as numerous as the stars in the sky!

  4. “And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the LORD your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good. “Look, the highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the LORD your God. Yet the LORD chose your ancestors as the objects of his love. And he chose you, their descendants, above all other nations, as is evident today. Therefore, change your hearts and stop being stubborn. (‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10‬:‭12-16‬ NLT)

Wow!!! Just to know that from the beginning of time, The Lord had me on His mind. To know that my life has purpose!!!! No one is here by accident.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ NLT)

And to know this in my heart is to fear, live, love, and serve with all my heart and soul. It’s a beautiful relationship💖

  5. Verses 12-13 MSG “So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you? Just this: Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you, obey the commandments and regulations of God that I’m commanding you today—live a good life.” Same verses AMP “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require from you, but to fear [and worship] the Lord your God [with awe-filled reverence and profound respect], to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being], and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good?” We must fear (and worship), walk, serve and keep the commandments of the Lord for verse 21 AMP says “He is your praise and glory; He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which you have seen with your own eyes.”

Psalm 150:6 AMP “Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)”.

  6. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

God’s commandments are there to protect and guide us not harm us.

  7. 19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

How easy and soon we sometimes forget from whence the Lord brought us. Do we stand in judgement of or guests because they do not look like us? Do we look down on them because their hair is no clean and neatly in place? God forbid. It may not have been too long ago we were in the same situation; standing in awe of God’s presence and love. Maybe we had feelings of inadequacy weighing us down to the point of not even wanting to look up. Maybe we were disgusted with ourselves and choices we have made.

You are not alone in this world or in this battle to save your soul. Let’s stand shoulder to shoulder and watch God.

  8. 1st generation or 13th generation. It doesn’t matter in the eyes of the Lord. If God lays out a plan for then he will not forget it. Go and do it! In the name of Jesus. The lord has blessed you. He is your father.

“Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the Lord is his inheritance, according as the Lord thy God promised him.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  9. “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:12, 16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The circumcision of your heart is easier said than done. If it were easy, everyone would do it. It’s is the cutting away of self. It is the dethroning of self. It is exhaulting of something you can not control. It makes us die daily. Sometimes it makes us die minutely or hourly as we have to make conscious decisions about who is in control.

  10. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

God requireds us to live a God fearing life, holy and righteous. We need to serve him with everything with in us! There is no other option we must keep his commandments. I want to hear well done thy good and Faithful servant, so I vowed to always keep Gods commandments and live a holy live.

  11. “Have respect for the Lord your God. Serve him. Remain true to him. When you make promises, take your oaths in his name. He is the one you should praise. He’s your God. With your own eyes you saw the great and wonderful miracles he did for you.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:20-21‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

We have seen so many great and wonderful miracles and as we share what we have seen great JOY fill their hearts.

“We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  12. 13 obey the commandments and regulations of God that I’m commanding you today – live a good life.
Why do we as Christians do the opposite of what God wants us to do and then when we get in trouble we call on God.
Its like a parent getting onto their child for something they did and shouldn’t have, we as a parent still love that child but we have to disciple that child also. That’s the same with God he loves us and wants us to do good and when we go the wrong route he gets onto us cause he loves us. So when you/I do something that goes against God’s word and we find ourselves in trouble don’t get upset with God he set the boundaries so we wouldn’t get in trouble.

  13. 12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul.
13 And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good. (NLT)

You alone, God, are worthy! Let everything we say and do bring You glory.

  14. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

  15. YES!!!
20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.
21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
YES HIM AND HIM ALONE!!! HALELUJAH!!! YOU ARE MY PRAISE JESUS!!! IT IS YOU MY GOD THAT IS GLORIFIED!!! FOR ONLY YOU ARE WORTHY JESUS!!! I PRAISE YOU DADDY!!! JESUS I LOVE YOU!!!

  16. REQUIRED TO GROW

The simplicity of the message from the LORD to Israel. Be prayerful to not get caught up in the details.

    1. Fear the LORD – Respect and Honor GOD
    2. Walk in HIS ways – not our ways, submit to Spiritual Authority
    3. Serve the LORD – all HEART and Soul, IT really is a HEART issue
    4. Keep the commandments of the LORD – Obedience
    5. Keep the statutes of the LORD – Lifestyle

The LORD “REQUIRES” these things of HIS disciples. If we resist, reject or refuse to submit to and follow what the LORD requires then it is obvious that we cannot be HIS disciples.

  17. “He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.(”‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:21‬ ‭NKJV)

We are here taught our duty to God in our principles and our practices. We must fear the Lord our God. We must love him, and delight in communion with him.We must walk in the ways in which he has appointed us to walk. We must serve him with all our heart and soul. What we do in his service we must do cheerfully, and with good will. We must keep his commandments. There is true honour and pleasure in obedience. We must give honour to God; and to him we must cleave, as one we love and delight in, trust in, and from whom we have great expectations. We are here taught our duty to our neighbour. God’s common gifts to mankind oblige us to honour all men.

  18. 11 And the Lord said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.

Arise is defined to awaken, move upward, ascend, to come into being
I believe you could also say GROW.

It is crucial for each and everyone of us to GROW and travel the journey. We have a City to WIN!

Then the Lord said to me, ‘Get up and resume the journey, and lead the people to the land I swore to give to their ancestors, so they may take possession of it.’ (NLT)

Let’s GROW and lead them to the land that God has given us!

  19. Deut. 10:12-13 (NLT)
    12) And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the LORD your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul.
    13) And you must always obey the LORD’S commandments and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.

And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you?
(Require means to ask or insist upon, as by right or authority; demand.)
The question is asking, “And now, Israel, what is the LORD your God asking, insisting upon, or demanding of you?”. 1) to fear Him. 2) to live in a way that pleases Him. 3) to love and serve Him with all their heart and soul. 4) to obey His commandments and decrees.

What does the LORD our God require (ask, insist upon, or demand) of us?
    1) to fear Him. 2) to live in a way that pleases Him. 3) to love and serve Him with all our heart and soul. 4) to obey His commandments and decrees.

    It’s For Our Own Good!

  20. Circumcise your heart

His Name is Great and Greatly to be Praised. Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

To circumcise means to cut of a loose part of skin; but when it comes to the heart; I think this means a couple things. First of all it says to me that being God’s children, being part of God’s covenant is about more than the way we look. It means that it isn’t good enough to just change one part of your body, you must also change your hearts… the inside. If we are to love those who are the least, the last, the little, and the lost, then we must change our hearts toward them. We can’t be stiff-necked, as it says in Deuteronomy. We can’t be cold, distant, or hard-hearted toward those who need our love and care. We must change our hearts.
If we are to have circumcised hearts, we must allow the Spirit to cut off the loose areas of hearts. In a boy’s circumcision the foreskin, the part that is cut off, is discarded. Upon coming to God, there are parts of heart that must be cut off and discarded. We have to get rid of our hate, violent-tendency, lust, greed, pride, malice, discontent, prejudice and so much more. We have to take all of that and throw it away.
But also like male circumcision our circumcised hearts must take on a new shape upon discarding the old. If our hearts were shaped to love our stuff, then we must allow the Spirit to reshape our hearts to love God and others. If our hearts were shaped to regard people who are different as inferior, then we have to allow the Spirit to mold our hearts to recognize our own inferiority so that we can learn to love everyone. If our hearts were shaped to serve ourselves, we must allow the Spirit to reshape our hearts to serve others. Art.HoosierPastor.
The way I see it and how simply Hoosier Pastor explains we must have a complete change cutting out that which is not Jesus like and changing all even to the way we think and are. Thank you Jesus for one day you took the time to circumcise my heart, mind, and spirit by the Holy Ghost who lives in me. Help us to continue this metamorphis and be more like you and less of me. In Jesus Name Amen

  21. 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

When we get a boy circumcised they take the extra skin, remove it, trim it up!
I believe God is saying Nora take that extra junk out of your heart, give it to me, your hoarding things in your life that is not gonna help you to grow, it’s hindering you. There’s only one way to circumcise the heart, and that is by Prayer. Constant prayer, allowing God to move that stuff out, so I can heal and so I can Grow, it’s gonna hurt, because it’s apart of me, but God will replace it with better.
Because he Loves me, He is a God of gods, there is only him.

  22. 8 At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

He separated out a people, the tribe of Levi, to minister unto Him and to deal in the “holy things” for the people. Those who stand before the congregation today, the ministers, the ministry team, the praise team, musicians….. we are part of the tribe of Levi, chosen, a separated people given the responsibility to prepare the way for the glory of God, the Holiness of God to be established among us every time we have the opportunity to worship together.

We cannot take this responsibility lightly. We MUST be prepared spiritually to lead.

  23. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Living for God isn’t that hard. Somewhere along the way it’s been blown up out of proportion and made to seem to big a thing to do. Moses breaks it down for us. What does the lord require? ” to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?”

Is living for God really too much? Loving God and following his statutes? No it isn’t.

  24. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
When we really look at what God desires from his people its really not much. Its to first fear God and then to love God. If we do those two things everything else just seems to fall into place. If we are first committed to loving God with everything we have we will servce Him with our whole heart. God do a work in me and change me from the inside out!

  25. Deuteronomy 10:16
Circumcise therefore the forskin of your heart and be no more stiffnecked .

    Grow with Jesus Amen

  26. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

These same requirements are for us today. I notice he lists fear the Lord first-having a healthy respect for what God can do to both body and soul, then to walk in his his ways. Loving him makes it so much easier to do these commandments. We love him because we have developed a relationship with him. We take him our every care and the desires of our heart and he loves us, blesses and hears and answers according to his will.

  27. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

We are meant to show the love of christ, not the judgment of christ

  28. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Nothing has changed. We still the same that is asked of us today, to fear the Lord and to walk in all His ways. If we are walking in His ways we will love and serve Him, teaching His commands and baptizing in His name, making disciples of everyone…
Thank you Jesus for being our example.

  29. 12) NLT And now , Israel what the LORD your God require of you ? He requires only that you fear the LORD you god and live in a way that please him and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul

    21) he alone is your God, the only one who is worthy of your praise the one who has done these mighty miracles that you have seen with your own eyes

We have seen with our own eyes all the mighty things that god has done in theses last pass months and weeks

  30. 21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

22 Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the Lord thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.

  31. ““And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the LORD your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the LORD’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:12-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

All God desires from us is to live for Him wholeheartedly, to give our all, and to live our life according to His commandments!

  32. 19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

If you see someone new at the church, go say hi to them and ask them how their day was. It’s not hard to do and it shows them that you care. You don’t have to be BFFs, but you need to show love. Love is not a noun, but it’s verb, it’s action, something that we have to step out and do. If our newcomers don’t feel loved by the people, then what reason do they have to stay? They’ll just go back to the places where they were before, which could be back into a sinful lifestyle. Which is exactly what we are trying to bring people out of so they can see the true love of Jesus.

So be a friend and go say hi.

  33. v19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

The love that GOD commands us to express toward our neighbor is not the sentimental emotion that seeks self- gratification , but to express agape love through serving other.

  34. Deuteronomy 10:12-13
12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. 13 And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.

    Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith is so many times spoken of as an invisible substance that needs to be accumulated, and that once we acquire enough we can tap into the supernatural and speak miracles into existence.

However faith isn’t some magical potion that we take to make God do our bidding. Faith is believing that God is going to do what he said in his word.

Jesus cryptically asked when referring to his second coming.

    Luke 18:8
8 … Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

What kind of Faith is he referring to? Is it miracles, signs, and wonders he will be looking for, or is it something else?

Faith is put into action more in our daily living then in prayers prayed for the sick. All of those things are good and needed. We believe and practice witnessing people miraculously healed, and supernaturally delivered. Yet sometimes Faith is seen more in our daily lives devoted, and our walk with God.

We can’t have faith without faithfulness. Our Faith is expressed by our lifestyle more than our casting out demons.

    Matthew 25:21
21 — His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  35. 1“At that time the LORD said to me, ‘Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones. Also make a wooden Ark—a sacred chest to store them in. Come up to me on the mountain, 2and I will write on the tablets the same words that were on the ones you smashed. Then place the tablets in the Ark.

This verse tells me, God gives 2nd chances. Even though we continue to sin before the Lord, God continues to forgive us, and shows his mercy towards us. By rewriting the Commandments, God showed he mercy to the Israel.

  36. Therefore, change your hearts and stop being stubborn. “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of Lords. He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed. He ensures that orphans and widows receive justice. He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing. So you, too, must show love to foreigners, for you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. You must fear the Lord your God and worship him and cling to him. Your oaths must be in his name alone.
    Deuteronomy 10:16-20 NLT
    http://bible.com/116/deu.10.16-20.NLT

God can do anything and change anything and anyone but He tells us that we have to make the first move and that is be willing to change our heart. When we begin to change our heart and let Him in we will soon begin to realize that He is all, our God, Savoir,Creator,Provider, Healer, Counselor, Help and that He is an awesome and powerful God! And as any good Father He begins to teach us through His wird how it is that we must live by showing His Love and Power to other. It is our duty to open our mouths and share.

  37. Deuteronomy 10:12 And now Israel what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the lord your God to walk in obedience to him to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and to observe the Lord’s commandments and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good. To the Lord your God belong the heavens even the highest heavens the Earth and everything in it. Yet the Lord set his affection on your ancestors and love them and he chose you their descendants above all the nations as it is today. Circumcise your hearts there for and do not be stiff necked any longer. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords the great God mighty and awesome who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of the fatherless and the Widow and loves the foreigner residing among you giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. Fear the lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is the one you praise he is your God who performed for you those great awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes. Your ancestors who went down into Egypt were seventy in all and now the Lord your God has made you numerous as the stars in the sky.

  38. The Key Element to Grow
In the verse where it talks about circumcision I thought of it as this. God has to remove some circumstances, people and places out of your life. Seasons may feel uncomfortable. You may feel in unusual territory but its for your own benefit. Reminded of me of Gods faithfulness to us that even when we mess up hes right there pushing us back to a relationship with him. God desires a relationship with you not all the junk, trash, guilt, pride, shame, anger, rage, etc. that you have bottled up! A lot of times we want things from God but God won’t give us those things until we get rid of the junk in our lives!

  39. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Yes, there is no other like him.

  40. 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

We are to remove all carnality from our hearts. It is a matter of the heart that keep us from God.

  41. 12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Let me God serve you with my whole heart! With everything I am let me give it to you as I serve and hold nothing back from you! Thank you God for letting me serve you. What a mighty God we serve!

  42. 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

What doth the LORD require of thee?
    Requirement?
Our mindset should be different……. I think that it might should be, what privilege it is to serve A GREAT GOD………. WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO BE CALLED SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!!! HALELUJAH!!! IT IS ONLY AS HARD AS WE MAKE IT TO BE!!!

  43. God will give us direction if we qould just listen. Too many times we as Christians ignore what God is saying. Now is the time more than ever to have our ears open ready to hear what God is saying.

  44. 22 Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the Lord thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.

There will be moments in our life that we will have to walk into situations that we know God had brought us to with only a few people will meet us half way and the things on our backs shrink down to whats in our hands. But when we make it to the end, God shows us we are one in an army of zillions and the things in our hands is nothing compared to what God is planing to bless us with.

    God the pro of multiplication!!!

  45. 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

    deuteronomy 30:6
The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Biblically your heart is the place of your 1. Emotions 2. Mental process Or the place that causes you to act or react 3. A persons will

    1. God is calling us to cut back or be circumcised in our heart . If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times. We cannot go by feelings for they will lie to you we must go by facts and the #1 fact is God is truth and He will not lie.

    2. Many people act and react based on life here on earth but when I’m trusting God I do not have to act beyond what Hos word tells me to do and I have no reaction because He faught for me

    3. Exporting my will above the will of God is not only ignorant but it prideful.

It Is our responsibility to be circumcised and watch God lead us to great and mighty things.

  46. 19 And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. 20 Fear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. 21 He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

Hallelujah!!! Love those who are lost for we were lost once and God had mercy upon us. He was patient because He loves us. Every thing you promise or say do it in His name. Do EVERYTHING in His Name!!! Don’t let the enemy steal what God has promised us because you are just letting the enemy win. I want the enemy to know me by my name and know that I am fear and serve the Lord. I will praise my Lord always because He is worthy of my praise! I don’t have to think of reasons for praise Him because His word says everything that has breathe praise the Lord!! Thank you Jesus for the many miracles signs and wonders that you have let me seen and that POFW is about to see!!! 🙂 HARVEST IS COMING!!!

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

HANG ON TO THESE!!!! DONT LET THEM GO!!!

  47. “He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.” The word of God (Judge) separates/identifies; orphans, widows, and strangers. One would be wise to do the same, and very unwise to take advantage of, or take from the same. Dear God, open our eyes and ears that we may do what is right in your sight. God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  48. “He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.” The Lord is the only one that should be praised. There is a difference between respect and praise, which the Lord sees and hears all, and he is a jealous God. God let us never become slack in praise to you, in Jesus name.

I believe that at this point indicates that the covenant was to be renewed according to God’s great mercy on a rebellious people.

    • That’s why is important for us to sign the covenant each year, cause our nature is to be rebellious, so when we sign, we commit our selfs to live life according to what it is expected of us. It shouldn’t be the way, because we should already have been save by the grace of God. JESUS thank you for your MERCY!!!

  50. 17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

21 He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

  51. 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

We had found a great deal at a apartment complex in a good area this past Saturday, we hurried after outreach to view it and sign it had been vacant all week, the moment we walked into the office someone was signing for it and it shook my wife a bit. We didn’t realize how hard it is to find a decent apartment in Fort Worth.
Little did we know that God was behind it, we felt blessed to have found it but when it was gone the joy was gone. When we realized that our hope should be in the one that owns everything and has our lives in his hands, we realized how blessed we were to just be called his children.

We are blessed because we know him not because of his benefits!

  52. Moses uses powerful words to instruct the Israelites on how to care for their hearts. He tells them to circumsize their hearts, and they know what he means: to cut away the things that may restrict, interfere or diminsh their spiritual lives. Often those who suffer heart disease of the spiritual heart go undetected until the damage is irrepararable. When heart pains send them to the ER they are shocked to hear that only part of their heart is functioning. Spiritually, we too may walk around with a heart that is diseased at far below the level at which God has designed us to function- without even realizing it. Sometimes their are things we have to cut away to strengthen our hearts for God.
