2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

People tend to get confused when they think of how can I be at the right hand of God, when Jesus sits there. Well think of this; we are created in His image. This earth is temporary. This vessel we’re in is but mere dust. We are only here for a short time, but it is how we carry ourselves and treat the instructions that God has given us. Bible (Basic instructions before leaving earth). I heard that somewhere; why now. Think about it. It is a book of instructions from the most high on how to live our lives on a temporary rock that He has created. It teaches us how to treat each other. It teaches us how to live on this rock. How then do we get that instruction; by studying and reading the word that God has put before me. I know for one that you can; should you chose to apply it. Can live your life through the book of Proverbs. That doesn’t mean just study that one book. There has to be balance. The new testament just fulfills the old testament. All 66 books go hand in hand. There is not one above the other. It all has to be carefully read and instructed by leaders that God puts before us. Thank you Jesus this day for giving me these books to study for the sake of salvation and living.

Jesus was as not an Angel, he is the one true LIVING God man
ifested in the flesh, Angel’s can not save us from sin. can they protect us, can they speak a word to us at the command of Jesus, yes, I beleive they can, because all throughout the word it speaks about ” The Angel Of the Lord appeared, We have the authority To dispatch Angel’s. warrior Angel’s and I’m not sure all the names or positions of the Angel’s, but I am sure that there is only one position for Jesus and one name under heaven by which we can be saved and it’s not angel. its Jesus. Angel’s have been in heaven and they dont know sin, unless they are the fallen Angel’s that came with lucy,
So they Cant appreciate what we go through, they cant relate to pain and suffering. but Jesus came and experience it all, and he came out victorious!

Verses 1-4 AMP “God, having spoken to the fathers long ago in [the voices and writings of] the prophets in many separate revelations [each of which set forth a portion of the truth], and in many ways, has in these last days spoken [with finality] to us in [the person of One who is by His character and nature] His Son [namely Jesus], whom He appointed heir and lawful owner of all things, through whom also He created the universe [that is, the universe as a space-time-matter continuum]. The Son is the radiance and only expression of the glory of [our awesome] God [reflecting God’s [a]Shekinah glory, the Light-being, the brilliant light of the divine], and the exact representation and perfect imprint of His [Father’s] essence, and upholding and maintaining and propelling all things [the entire physical and spiritual universe] by His powerful word [carrying the universe along to its predetermined goal]. Something I’ve noticed about everything that Paul writes oh, he always talks about the glory of God and the reigning of his majesty. No matter how long we are in church or have experienced we think we are we must never forget our beginnings and how glorious God is for saving us and ridding us of our sins. We must never forget what God has brought us out of and that we give him glory in all things for all things at all times.

I find it interesting that the exact same verse is found in Psalms

The anointing of joy. Pastor had us proclaim in service on Sunday “I am anointed”. This anointing comes from the baptism of the Holy Ghost . We are all guilty looking for joy in many things. People , relationships and material things to satisfy a craving of fulfillment. I have been learning more and more about the joy that God really has already given me,
There have been several phases in my life that I thought I could never find joy again. Each time God reminded me joy comes from Him. The joy of the Lord is my strength great comment but until the oil is saturated into my life it is ; just a verse we have learned and a cliche used. It can be stated over and over again . Oil when applied to dry skin is absorbed as so with the oil of gladness it can not just be applied and let it roll right off but when absorb it becomes a part of you. Righteousness peace joy in the Holy Ghost that’s the kingdom of God.
The verse says that God sets us above our companions what companions have I allowed to travel with me. Despair ,sadness discontentment just a few yet with the oil of gladness those companions are no longer a part of my life. I have been set above being in His presence saturated with His joy.
Father forgive me for I have been guilty of allowing life to rob me of what I thought joy was. But each moment spent in your presence reveals what real joy is about. I pray You continue to baptize me with your oil of joy and that it is saturated into my life. I pray that those who have not found this revelation that I can share daily with those who are desperately longing for joy and share the source it comes from which is only through You . In Jesus name. I pray I seek first the Kingdom and
Isaiah 61:2-3
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
The world is filled despair.At one time no more than once I too was filled with it . Despair comes from desperation . Life takes a toil upon you and you allow the situation to control you.
3 The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. (NLT)
My God is Lord of all and He reigns with all power in His hand. How could I not give Him all the glory due unto His name?!!
“He also says to the Son, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard them like old clothing. But you are always the same; you will live forever.””

The first and the last, the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end.
God is forever, never changing and it’s time we have our minds made up. We gotta be convinced to be in this thing. For me it don’t take much. I was delivered, the hand of the Lord was on me. That’s plenty enough for me to keep me around this Gospel.

Some people put so much emphasis on angels and their works but they fail to realize that an angel is on assignment when you see or feel them. Those orders they’re carrying out came from the Most High God. Thank You, God, for being my Commander in Chief.
FIRST THE KINGDOM
THE CREATOR FIRST
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
Believing in JESUS as LORD, SAVIOR and CREATOR seems to create a solid platform to build the principal of FIRST THE KINGDOM.
The LORD our LORD (JESUS) FIRST (In the beginning) laid the foundation of the earth and traced the heavens with his hands.
We should be inspired and motivated to put JESUS FIRST in our thoughts, words, deeds, life, dreams, attitude, actions, aspirations, lifestyle, worship, works, and any other area we can think of.
JESUS was FIRST, is FIRST and will always be FIRST. We should make JESUS our FIRST in everything.

This chapter made me remember a particular Bible study I did to help a young man get his girlfriend back in the Phillipines out of a false religion. This religion doesn’t believe Jesus set the church up correctly so God turned to a man…the point is, that scripture shows who Jesus is. He is God robed in flesh, the only begotten of the Father, the one who shed his blood for my sins, who was seen by angels, preached unto men and received up into Heaven. We must be able to point people to the one who can save, heal, deliver and the one who is the source of true joy.

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
God is the beginning and our foundation. He remains the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. We change, seasons change, everything thing changes but God will never change and will always be there. I’m thankful for an unchanging and loving and merciful king. Be blessed today!

Your foundation is laid.
God has already established the foundation. There is a saying, “when you’ve hit rock bottom, then you can build up. Because you need a foundation to build skyward.”
When I read this passage this morning, I realized that I already have the greatest foundation,God. Hes the one the created it, and laid it down. The firm foundation of God. When we go through things, and we feel like we’ve hit rock bottom. We have gotten to a place where God is. Dont push out the times that God has called for you to be tested, dont cringe at the seasons where God says I want to be alone with you. The foundation that we build on, will show when how high God takes you. The foundation of the Kingdom of God. That is it. When we put First the Kingdom of God, that becomes our foundation. So put First the Kingfom of God.

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
First the Kingdom is our primary focus this year and this scripture tells the story. A sceptre is the rod the King holds. It’s a sign of authority and a sign of power. For the saints of the Living God if we don’t carry the scepter, we are not walking in authority. The sceptre we have as saints of God is a sceptre of righteousness. This is why some do not possess authority, they do not walk in righteousness
Hebrews 1:9 (Amp) You have loved righteousness
[ You have delighted in integrity , virtue, and
[ uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hates lawlessness ( injustice and inquity). Therefore God, [ even] YourGod ( God-head) , has
anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.
[Ps. 45:6]. Your throne, O God, is forever and forever and ever; the scepter of righteous is the scepter of your Kingdom. Your love righteous, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God. Your God , has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. Jesus First, Our Pastor has preach to us that we are anointed. Jesus will Always be here for us no matter what. Believe in it and put your trust in.
Regarding the angels, he says, “He sends his angels like the winds, his servants like flames of fire.”
Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

God never told the angels to sit because they are ministering spirits, sent to do His will in caring for you and me. We are never alone in this world. We have God’s Spirit within us, His blood on us, and His angels around about us. We are never outnumbered, never the underdog. We are the apple of God’s eye, the ones He died to save. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He will give us all things that pertain unto life and godliness. He gives His angels charge over us and commands them to minister to us in our times of need.
I can’t help but to think of the words to a song by Darlene Zschech:

When God spoke to those of the Old Testament he did it through the chisen and the high priest. There were very precise manners in which they were to approach the Holy of Holies and if at any time they were not righteous in the Gods eyes, that would be the end of the priest. But I am so thankful this morning that the God of glory made himself lower than angels to wrap himself in carnal flesh and come into the world to blot out our transgressions in which we would not be able to be delivered otherwise. He allowed the veil to be ripped from the top to the bottom to remove the barrier so we could approach the glorious throne of grace and mercy. When God created man we were one of his greatest creations because we were created a little higher than the angels separated by a conscious choice to worship him or not. But I am thankful he chose me and I chose him. My life has not been the same since Jesus came into my heart.
I am thankful for the Holy Ghost and the dominion and power that he gives me through the infilling of the Holy Ghost. I am thankful for a church that I can assemble together to worship God. And most of all I’m thankful for a shepherd to speak to my life through the word of God.
I love the Kingdom!

God is a God of Joy as we should be.
Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

And the heavens are the works of Your hands;

Like a garment they will be changed.

The Spirit of God confirming the diety of our Savior – He forever is enthroned as King. Things all around us change, but He never changes and will always be KING of Kings.

When we seek FIRST the Kingdom of God, our hearts will begin to love righteousness and hate evil. When our hearts are filled with righteousness, peace and joy soon follow.

In His earthly ministry Jesus constantly demonstrated the power of His word. He could heal, forgive, cast out demons, calm nature’s fury all at the expression of one word. Here we see that His word is so powerful that it can uphold all things.

Just thinking about the Earth and the universe that God created it all and how beautiful it is keeps me amazed at how big and powerful our God is. And at the same time all this he created he could make disappear before we could blink. It’s hard to fathom how powerful our God really is.

With just His voice, He created the heavens and the earth. There is nothing impossible for Him. He made everything perfect and everything has a purpose. We’re all created for a purpose. We have to be sensitive to His voice and make sure we are listening to Him and not other voices. Jesus help me to be sensitive to you!!!

Thank the Lord for always watching out for us and covering us. That our enemies might be his footstool.
The Son is the radiance and only expression of the glory of [our awesome] God [reflecting God’s Shekinah glory, the Light-being, the brilliant light of the divine], and the exact representation and perfect imprint of His [Father’s] essence, and upholding and maintaining and propelling all things [the entire physical and spiritual universe] by His powerful word [carrying the universe along to its predetermined goal]. When He [Himself and no other] had [by offering Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin] accomplished purification from sins and established our freedom from guilt, He sat down [revealing His completed work] at the right hand of the Majesty on high [revealing His Divine authority],
HEBREWS 1:3 AMP
JESUS is the bodily manisfesttion of God almighty. He is all God and in Jesus all human.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
To fear the Lord, is to hate evil!
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
In times past all the people had was the prophets and the law but today we are a blessed generation because we can enter boldly into the thrown room of God.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
God is the ancient of days. His word endures forever. He was, is and will be forever God. Jesus offers us salvation so that we may live eternally in Heaven.
Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus and receive the Holy Ghost.
v65 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?
And again I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a son?
To have the Spirit of God within us is indeed a privilege beyond all others ….The apostle John tells us of the beauty of being a child of God.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
God is the same yesterday today and forever. He created all things and knows all things. The things she has made may one day fade away but God will still remain.
Hebrews 1
3) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV
We must tell the whole world that today the Son is the heir of all things and there is nothing that he can’t do. He can take care of problems, sicknesses, fear or anything that hinders. We must share His Son and that is Jesus!!

According to this verse, mad/ unsatisfied people are that way because they do not hate evil

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Our Creator made everything for a purpose. We were designed to live for God and all things we do for the kingdom will last forever. This old world will pass away when Jesus returns for the church. Those who have strayed away from him will be folded away like a garment. This is what he has warned of. He has supplied us with everything we need to prepare ourselves for that day.
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Angels are servants of God. They surround you with protection.
10. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
God is so awesome and big yet he loves me. He cares what happens to me and when it happens. He cares if I love him and others. He created everything, including me.
14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
Nice to know, angels are all around us at all times, watching over us. God sent them to protect us. Thank you Jesus, continue to have your angels of protection around my home and family.
He also says to the Son, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing. You will fold them up like a cloak and discard them like old clothing. But you are always the same; you will live forever.”
Hebrews 1:10-12 NLT
Everything will fade away but his kingdom will last forever. That is our security. He is our security. He will never fail he will never fade he will stay the same forever. I love that he will never change his mind about you or me. The promise stays the same. Only you or I can alter that, but he can’t.
