Isaiah 11

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.

14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.

15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.

16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

  1. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

The Lord reigns. Even though the Lord’s chosen people have been judged and destroyed by their enemies, we see the plan of restoration and how that all of nature will be subjected to the reversal of the curse caused by sin.

  2. 2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

A mentor of mine a while back show me these three verses and told me it was something that a Christian could pray for. He could pray for the spirit of the Lord to rest upon him and to have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, and to seek for quick understanding in the fear of the Lord and to be a righteous man. Asking God to lead all of his steps.

  3. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

This is a prophecy and type shadow of the second coming of Jesus as he sets in motion the gathering of those that are a part of the church, both Gentiles and Jews alike. They will be gathered together as the peace settles upon the earth and God gets ready to bring forth the body of his church. This representation of the gathering of the remnant of Jews and even the gentiles let’s us know that God is going to call those that have chosen his kingdom together and bring them out of all the toil and tribulation that has come against them. They will be delivered. What a great day for the church of the king of kings and the lord of lords. We shall see the king in all his glory, what a glorious day that will be.

  4. The Message translation…..The Ammonites will fall into line.
God will once again dry up Egypt’s Red Sea,
    making for an easy crossing.
    He’ll send a blistering wind
down on the great River Euphrates,
Reduce it to seven mere trickles.
None even need get their feet wet!
In the end there’ll be a highway all the way from Assyria,
easy traveling for what’s left of God’s people—
A highway just like the one Israel had
when he marched up out of Egypt.
Great this day will be and we need to be ready! I love POFW. LIVEJESUSGIVEJESUS2

  5. Isaiah 11
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

And His Rest Shall Be Glorious!!!!!!!

    saiah 40:29-31 ESV / 307 helpful votes

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

“Where is the one who led [the Israelites] through the bottom of the sea? They were like fine stallions racing through the desert, never stumbling. As with cattle going down into a peaceful valley, the Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. You led your people, Lord, and gained a magnificent reputation.”
    — Isaiah 63:13-14 NLT

The word of God days if you are tired and weary He will give you rest. Many seek for rest in pleasures of this world yet to find their self still seeking for more rest. They just can’t get enough time to rest! If we truly serve God with our whole heart His Peace will
transcend into you allowing the Holy Ghost to be your rest. Yes there is a day coming The Second coming of Jesus Christ yet while we wait we must allow His Spirit to be our rest. So much the more to be filled with the Holy Ghost! Daily in His Presence!

  6. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

There is nothing more satisfying than being able rest in His Glory.

  7. Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

    Proverbs 2:5,9
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. v.9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea every good path.

  8. “Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot— yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It amazes me that so many people pick and choose things from the Bible to obey but if they would open their bibles and read it. The prophetic word is wrote for centuries and literally ties it together. It’s like we’ve heard prophetic words from so many different prophets and they still don’t believe. I don’t necessarily think the people don’t believe it’s the fact they won’t accept what’s true. When someone doesn’t wanna change the way THEY live they reject whatever it is that tells them they should change. In the cases if you were to share the gospel they’re not denying you…they’re denying Christ.
Today we’re gonna go in neighborhoods full of sin, full of hate, full of idolatry. God is gonna use you to be a witness and a living testimony of what he’s capable of. When someone tells you no today they’re bot rejecting your kindness or your hard work they’re denying Christ..so keep moving with boldness and confidence and let’s crush the spirit of intimidation today in Jesus name!

  9. Isaiah 11:10
“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek; and his rest shall be glorious.”

    Romans 15:9-13 says…
    9) And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
    10) And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with His people.
    11) And again, Praise Lthe Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud Him, all ye people.
12)And again, Isaiah saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and He that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in Him shall the Gentiles trust.
    13) Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

JESUS is the root of Jesse. He is the one who came to be an ensign (Banner) of the people. JESUS is the One we (Gentiles) come to seek and trust in.

Thank You JESUS for Your Mercy!
    I Rejoice in JESUS!
I Praise His Holy name, JESUS!
    Thank You JESUS for Hope.
    Thank You JESUS for Joy!
    Thank You JESUS for Peace!
Thank You JESUS for the Holy Ghost! Your Rest is Glorious! 😀😀

  10. 16He will make a highway for the remnant of his people, the remnant coming from Assyria, just as he did for Israel long ago when they returned from Egypt.

The road to heaven may be narrow but not impossible to stay on it. Takes commitment and endurance to live and serve God. Many will want to serve but many will take detour off the Holy road. Look straight ahead and focus on Jesus, and the road will seem wide and easy to stay on course.

Matthew 7: 14But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.

  11. 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

This vision comes in a promise that God is restoring his wayward people. Kingdom principles is good to realize that our ultimate destiny is to live in peace and rest in Jesus.

  12. 11:1
The millennial reign of Christ is described in 1:1–12:6. The time of the Messiah’s coming was undoubtedly a puzzle in Old Testament times. In this section the prophet indicates that His coming is yet in the distant future. Isaiah predicts that the “tree” of the line of David will be cut down and that a shoot must grow out of the stock of Jesse before it will flourish again.

  13. Isaiah 11- 2-3 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
    (3) And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
    Thank you Lord for everything!
I will lift him and gloried his might name.
Jesus ( What mighty God that we serve)

  14. LIVE – GIVE JESUS2
    VALUABLE ROOTS

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

I walked past a business this week and saw a palm tree that had been cut down to the ground. The tree was about 24 inches in circumference level with the ground. I was inspired to see that from the surface of that hewn down palm tree were several long green leaves arising from the base of that once thriving palm tree.

The sight of that tree inspired me to think of how JESUS can take something that has been cut down and spring forth LIFE from it. There were some names of precious people that have been deceived and cut off from the LORD that I prayed for at that time and I believe JESUS revealed to me what HE is about to do in our Nation and among our families, friends and church.

As I read verse one today, I could help but think of how JESUS confirms HIS spiritual WORD to us through HIS eternal WORD for us.

Fight a Good FIGHT, Keep the FAITH, we will see them spring up again.

  15. 11:3 and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord, and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes
Neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
    —-
Because he understands the fear of the lord ( which is within him) he thinks before he speaks, he analyzed before judging
Because again he understands and know when to
Act, speak or proceed because of the fear of the Lord
Prayer, and reading his words will cause me to k now him
And as this continues my reverence, the fear of the Lord will
Be a part of me, a peace of my character…..

  16. A great revival of the most unlikely

16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

As we know Syria is a Muslim nation. It has been in turmoil for centuries. The children born in this land have never seen peace, they don’t know what it even feels like to walk outside the house without worrying about something bad happening. There is a day coming where enough of them get sick of war, they get sick of seeing their families live in chaos. They will look up and see this Highway, like the Red Sea parting for the children of Israel. They will feel the drawing in of his great peace with Jesus at the end of that road ushering them in. As much as we don’t understand the Muslims, God has not given up on them. How can we ever say someone is too far gone? How do we give up on them? We must build a Highway for them, make it easy for all to come to Jesus. Today we must pave a Highway of peace and goodwill toward all men as the EndTime approaches. The unlikely harvest awaits us.

  17. AMP – 2 And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and strength,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the [reverential and obedient] fear of the Lord—
3 And He will delight in the fear of the Lord,
And He will not judge by what His eyes see,
    Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;

Before the ascension Jesus told Peter and those with Him – greater works shall ye do……. In order to do greater things than He did the fire of His Spirit must be actively working in our heart. However, it takes more than just fire, we must also possess the attributes of the Lord – Wisdom, understanding, counsel and strength, knowledge and fear of the Lord. Knowing what to say when we pray for someone to be delivered, or how to tell someone and them accept it that they can be delivered from the bondages of this world all are so important. What we say and how we say must be received by the hearer. Having a Christ-like Spirit and attitude will assist us in reaching people at all levels.

I’m reminded today of another song:

To be like Jesus, to be like Jesus
On earth I long to be like Him
All through life’s journey, from here to glory
I only ask to be like Him.

If we will seek to be like Jesus in every aspect of our lives, we will find “Greater things than these shall we do” will be alive in us.

  18. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus2
Whoa now yall, before you let your little kids start playing with rattlesnakes, these here scriptures need to come to pass. When Jesus comes back to the earth there will be total peace and safety…but as for now this church is a snake killer not snake cuddler.

  19. 2. And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him- the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. NLT

This is a good verse to pray over ourselves daily – that the Spirit of the Lord would rest on us; I know I sure could use more wisdom, understanding, and knowledge!

  20. Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot— yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root. And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay.
He will wear righteousness like a belt and truth like an undergarment.
    Isaiah 11:1‭-‬3‭, ‬5 NLT

This reminds me of how important it is we teach and train the next generations. Every behavior we see from children and young people is either taught or tolerated. Eyes are watching, the world is longing for truth and it’s our job to leave them to the ultimate truth of Jesus Christ.

  21. 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

So jesus said if you are going to jude me on what I’m judging you on them you will have to feel the pain of no sight and no hearing

  22. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

There’s a day coming when the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord! That will be a glorious day and we are to strive to enter into his rest-his place of eternal rest for our soul. And we have a place now in the Holy Ghost that gives us rest from the battles of life, rest from warfare prayer or rest from the labors done as a church body. His rest truly will be glorious.

  23. Isaiah 11
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Glory to God. Jesus the root of Jesse is for the Jew and Gentile his rest will be glorious.

  24. 2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

  25. He should let
    The steam out so
That they can be and that
They come fourth so they can
    Grow out of the roots.

  26. “He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He will judge in truth, because He knows all things, even the heart of man. His judgment will be just. He will not need to hear the witnesses. He already knows everything about every individual on the earth.

  27. 1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

    2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

A great nation was going to come from Jesse. If we follow the will of God, he can cause great things to come from our kindred line. Just because your mother, father or grandparents weren’t the best people, that doesn’t mean that you have to suffer with that as well. God has called great people out of families that a history of negative behavior. If we trust in the Lord he will lead us to greatness.

  28. Verse 12 in the VOICE version and the caption that follows says “When God raises a signal, the whole world will hear the news of how He is assembling the people He had banished, Gathering those scattered from Judah from across the whole wide earth.” There are no capricious acts with God. God, and no one else, is the undoing of Israel. He may use Assyria as His agent to chastise the people of Judah for their wrongdoing, but judgment is never God’s last move. When God judges—when God punishes—He does so for a reason. His judgment is always measured, finite, and based on His covenant loyalty. God takes no delight in His people’s suffering; but sometimes, tragically, it is necessary. Willful ignorance and blatant disregard for God and others cannot be ignored. In the end, God’s purpose is to repair a world deeply injured by sin and its consequences. So His next move is to rescue and restore His covenant partners. Reconciliation and grace always follow destruction.”

In the AMP the end of this chapter is captioned “The Restored Remnant” and in the CEV version is says “God’s People Will Come Back Home”. As verse 11 ESV says “In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people,…..”. We must be ready to receive the harvest that is coming.

  29. “And He will delight in the fear of the Lord, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make decisions by what His ears hear;”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In our daily walk with Christ we should always make sure that what do isn’t based on what we see or hear. We must always remember to seek him first in the deductions we make. I pray that we always remember to keep him at the center in all that we do instead of doing what our flesh would want us to do because our flesh can get us in trouble. Always walk in the spirit because it will not lead you in the wrong direction.

  30. 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

We must let the whole world know who we stand for and serve! Everyone deserves to know about Him. It doesn’t matter it they are your enemy, ex friend, someone you don’t like…..EVERYBODY needs to hear this word! We must gather our loved ones and friends to hear about God and what he has done for us! I hope that everyone single one of us are reaching out to the lost to help them he saved! I pray tonight that we are gathering everyone we know to hear His word!!!

  31. “And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God fills his children with everything, and he removes all evil, fear, anxiety, and weakness from their lives. As we grow in God, he is filling us with more wisdom, knowledge and strength. We need to have complete full trust and faith in the Lord, for he is our savior and our only true God. I pray we seek God through everything and anything daily, I pray we help those that lost their way and show them that God is our strength the one who brings us joy and peace, that he is the light through it all.

  32. 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

He is righteous and faithful! God knows our heart, Hod know what’s really inside of us regardless of what others see and hear I would rather please God and save my own soul than please man to satisfy their expectations.

Understand my heart I do not live to do harm or wish harm on any man but I live to please the Lord and lead myself. While I lead myself I desire to lead others with me.

  33. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

  34. “Then at last the jealousy between Israel and Judah will end. They will not be rivals anymore.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:13 NLT

This chapter told us about The wonders of Jesus. Unity will come with his spirit. The church will over throw the enemies about of his spirit. Stand strong with his spirit.

  35. “In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to bring back the remnant of his people— those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands.”
    Isaiah 11:11 NLT

God is calling back His people from the north, east, south, and the west to be gather together to magnified Jesus. As God brings people near from every circumstance to Him let us be open to anything that Jesus asks us to do and obey. And let boldness arise in our hearts in Christ to overcome all adversity and doubt and see God outpouring fill every heart.

  36. Isaiah 11:6,8
[6]In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all.
[8]The baby will play safely near the hole of a cobra. Yes, a little child will put its hand in a nest of deadly snakes without harm.

Peace on earth. Jesus is our peace. He is our protector.

    Ephesians 2:14
For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.

  37. “and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are to walk by faith and not by sight as we follow after the Lord.

  38. 15 And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.

16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

God will always make a way in every situation, when it seems impossible our God can and will work on our behalf. Thank you Jesus for taking care of us in every situation!!!

  39. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.
    Isaiah 11:9 NKJV

The difference in the world is in knowing God. That is what makes all things come together in peace and harmony.

  40. Isaiah 11:6
“And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.”

There will always be a remnant; (Isaiah 37:4, Jeremiah 6:9). God will always provide a way of escape. (Ex. 14:16, Pr. 15:19)

  41. 15 The Lord will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.
    Isaiah 11:15 NLT

    https://bible.com/bible/116/isa.11.15.NLT

God always makes a way for His people. My God You never leave us or forsake us. I praise Your Holy Name.

  42. “And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are made in His image! We can seek after these gifts – Wisdom & Understanding, Counsel & Might, Knowledge & Fear of the Lord. How? By abiding His Word and developing a relationship with Him. When we purpose to be like Jesus we step into His will and that is a wonderful place to be!

  43. Isaiah Chapter 11

The only thing that must be said is that root of Jesse is Jesus. I praise His name and give Him Glory.

Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.

  44. 16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Even when God gets angry and makes changes or takes out our enemies, he always has us in mind and has an alternative ready for us. “. . . there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, . . .” There is always a way made out of no way for us! He hasn’t done this just once for any one of us, but multiple times, over, and over, and over again.

  45. 16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

  46. 2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

And ye shall receive POWER! Yes, the Spirit of God will lead us too all righteousness. If our leadership in government would be like the early leaders of the church, all filled with the Holy Ghost, this world see the Hand of God like never before.
